Ch 48

Moving Day

-Sabrina's Pov

Everything was packed and we were all set. Only thing left to do is drive to the airport, where our flight would be leaving at 4pm. It was currently 11am and we were minutes away from leaving.

I texted Shawn to hurry over and he did.

He promised to be with me the whole way.

Shawn greeted my mom and Charles introduced himself.

After that, we all got in the car and were on our way to the airport.

While my mom and Charles made a conversation of their own, Shawn and I sat together in the seats way in the back, where the trunk was.

We tried our best to avoid the fact that I'm moving and will most likely never see him again, and talked about anything else.

It was pretty difficult to hide our emotions, but we managed.

*skip car ride-now at airport*

It was about, 1 o'clock when we arrived.

We all got out our suitcases and Shawn helped me with mine. When we entered, my mom and Charles wondered off to go sign some papers and verify information, while Shawn and I just sat together, taking care of the luggage.

"Im going to miss you." said Shawn, as he put his arm around me and i rested my head oh his shoulder

"Im going to miss you too." I sadly stated

-Mom's Pov (ohh shiiet whats she doin there )

I looked over at Sabrina and Shawn cuddling. They looked very sad and tensed.

My heart began to pump and i turned to Charles, who had seemed to be looking at them too.

We both looked at eachother he sighed.

"I cant ..." I immediately jumped into conclusion, already knowing what he was about to say.

He tilted his head and put one arm on my shoulder. "Look at them."

"She'll be miserable." he continued

"I cant just let her go!...shes my baby" i looked down is sadness

"Hunny, she's 16! She'll be 17 in a couple months...i think shes old enough." he convinced

I stood speechless for a bit and knew what i had to do.

"Ok." i nodded

"Ok. Lets go tell her..." he gave me a side smile, and we stepped out of line.

-Sabrinas pov

My mom and Charles came eagrly rushing over to me.

"Well that was fast..." i said as they approached

"Hush. I have some news." She said, looking tensed.

My eyebrows furrowed in confusion and i waited for her to continue.

"Sabrina, we're letting you stay."

My eyes jolt in shock and i immediately hopped up.

"What do you mean ?!"

"You can stay...","you dont have to come with us to Seattle." she gently smiled.

A huge smile crept on my face and i jumped into her arms with joy.

Shawn came up behind us and joined in.

A moment later we pulled away and my mother smiled.

"You'll be staying with your sister until you can raise enough money for your own place." she stated

"Done!" i agreed

"And i want you to do good in school! Or else ill bring you back myself!"

"I'll do great, i promise!" i said, more happy then ever.

"Good." she smiled, "now get out of here." she said, hugging me once again, for the last time in a while.

"Come visit!" she cheered

I agreed as Shawn and i both said our goodbyes towards them.

It was almost 3:00 which means their plane would be boarding.

My mother passed me back my suit cases and reasured me the rest of my stuff would be sent to my sisters'.

I nodded and waved my final goodbye as we both split our separate ways.

"Goodbye."
