Ch 5

-Sabrina's Pov

Shawn and I decided to meet up at 6:00pm, and it was currently 5.

I went over to my closet and picked out a light pair of jeans with a flowy white top and slid on my black and white vans. My hair was straightened down and i had a touch of makeup on.

I grabbed my sweater and my bag and jogged down stairs to find my mom and my sister laughing over something my mom said.

"oh hey Bri" My mom smiles

"Mom! when did you get here?"  i say running over to her to hug her 

"About two hours ago" she says in a calm tone as she slightly hugged me back

"Oh. Um, How come nobody told me?" I say trying to hide my pain

Like, come on. I haven't seen this women in what seemed like forever and im now finding out that shes been home this whole time! while i've been missing her like crazy.

Nice.

"Oh, well i dont know hun, me and jessica were just having a great time catching up" She says looking back at jessica with a smile

"and what about me?","I wanna catch up too. I haven't seen you in forever for crying out loud!" I say, holding back my tears 

"Sabrina calm down, god.","It's not our fault your to busy living your life in your room then being out here with you sister" she shoots back at me with a look of disgust 

"Live my life in my room? How the fuck would you know that if your never here!" I yell, leaving her in silence as i ran out the door

I kept running until my side started hurting and i happened to come across Conner who was sitting on a park bench, rolling a blunt.

By the time i reached him my eyes were already red from crying all the way over here and my nose was a little rosy.

"Bri? whats wrong?" He jumps up to hug me

"My mom and I got in an argument" i hug him back, crying into his shoulder 

"What, really? that's horrible" 

I nod and wipe my tears away.

"Looks like your pretty upset."..."I think i can change that" he smirks 

I look up at him with confusion and he goes back to rolling his blunt.

When he was done, he gently licked the end and concealed it. He twisted an end the lit it.

"Here, you take the first hit, since your not... feeling well" he smiles, passing it to me.

I take the blunt from him and deeply inhale. I held in the smoke for a while then slowly exhaled letting the smoke filled the air.

"Thanks Conner, i really needed this" i breathe out 

"No problem",'So where you heading?"

I quickly stop everything i was feeling and realized i was supposed to be going to Shawn's house to work on the project

'Crap! I was supposed to go to Shawns house at 6!" i worry 

"Ugh, him?" he rolls his eyes

"Yes, him!","Know what time is it!?" 

He sighs and pulls his phone out.

"7:00pm" 

"shit!" i groan

"What does it matter anyways...he's a loser" he says putting the blunt to his mouth 

"No he's not!" i shout 

He stays quiet for a couple seconds, and looks at me with a confused expression

"Nevermind...i have to go" I say walking away before he could say anything else

It was 7:30pm when i finally got to his front door.

I hesitate to knock, then take a deep breathe.

Why am i nervous anyways? It's just Shawn...It's not like i have feelings for him or anything.

Right?

Anyways, damn! could Sabrina possibly be having feelings for THEE Shawn Mendes??
