Ch 16

Shawn was standing a couple feet from me and I felt a slight of relief, and also a bit of betrayal.

I was glad to see he was ok, but hurt to know this whole time he was just partying.

I walked up to him and he looked up at me. He was taking shots and laughing about something his friend said.

When he saw me he went silent, and I just stood there not saying a word, until he finally spoke up.

"Oh hey, Brianna"

My eyebrows furrowed, and I swear I wanted to punch him.

"Brianna, really?" I shook my head and crossed my arms,"it's Sabrina, asswhole."

"Oh right..."

"Where have you been?!"

"Around." His smile wiped off his face, and now he was serious.

"Around. Really, that's your excuse??"

"Damn, chill out, you don't have control over me Sabrina"

"I never said I did! I was just worried about you shawn!"

Conner came to my side and stood there like a security guard.

"Well don't. I can take care of myself." He demanded

His friends were laughing in the background and this whole conversation was hurting me even more.

"Dude shut the hell up, you sound like an idiot!" Conner shouted

Shawn immediately got on his feet and turned to Conner.

"Who the fuck do you think you are? Get out of here!" Shawn shouted, causing a huge scene

All eyes were on us and I got in front of Conner so he wouldn't do anything.

"Shawn, lower your voice." I demanded

"Sabrina. Listen, just leave me alone alright, I can handle myself." His voice lowered

"Shawn what's going on with you? Please, just talk to me"

He took a deep breath, ran his fingers across his hair then looked back at me.

"Nothing, I'm sorry, I've had a lot to drink. Forgive me."

I nodded my head then grabbed his wrist and we went outside.

We walked around the block and began talking, to clear things up a little more.

"Why haven't I seen you in a month? What's your excuse..."

"Listen, Sabrina, I've been hanging out with some friends and we've just been fooling around and having some fun, okay..."

"And you never told me anything, because...?"

"Well, I am my own person you know, I can do whatever I want"

"Don't make me want to slap you again." I demanded

"Ok, ok I'm sorry. I honestly don't know, I guess I just got caught up in all the excitement"

I nodded, knowing it was bullshit, but didn't say a word.

Hey, maybe I should just let this go. I have been acting a little off lately.

"Sabrina, honest. I'm sorry ok, I know I should've called. But hey! I'll make it up to you! For now on it'll just be you and me." He smiled

I smiled at the thought and nodded

"Okay."

"Great! We can catch up on what I've missed and we can go out on our little adventures" he winked

"Your such a dweeb." I laughed,"but ok, I'd like that."

"Cool. Now let's go get drunk"

"Psh, think again. You've had enough to drink for tonight" I scoffed

"Tomorrow then?"

"Yup, let's do it!"

It was 1 o'clock in the morning and Conner and I were back in my car...with Shawn sitting in the back seat, with us.

I guess, his mom was mad at him for leaving the house so he's spending the night, at Conners house.

Which Conner was not to pleased about...

After 5 minutes of driving, Shawn fell asleep, and Conner turned to me.

"Why does he have to sleep at my house?!"

"Because! His mom is mad at him right now and I don't want him sleeping at some stranger house!"

"but why me!","why can he sleep at your house!"

"Because Conner, I am a women. And I deserve some privacy. And plus, he's drunk."

"Bu-

"You really want, a super hot guy sleeping over at my house, unsupe-

"Ok, nevermind! He can stay at my house!" He immediately shouted

I rose an eyebrow, "that's what I thought."

"Shut up" he mumbled

I dropped Shawn and Conner off at his house and I waited until they fully entered the house.

"Don't kill him" I told Conner.

"No promises." He said as he helped Shawn out of the back seat

"Please don't" I giggled

"I'll try not to..."

I rose my eye brow and he sighed,"ok, ok I won't."

"Thanks" I smiled

Conner chuckled and leaned his head in towards mine.

"I know this is wrong, and you probably don't feel the same way, b-

I grabbed him by his shirt and pulled him in closer to me, and leaned in to kiss him.

Our lips moved in motion, and I had no regret in doing it.

"Thanks for everything Conner" I finally parted

He did his best not to blush, and nodded, "Goodnight" he smiled

"Goodnight."
