Ch 29

*2 weeks later*

-Sabrina's Pov

I've been slowly getting back on my feet again, with the help of Conner, of course.

It was 7am, and I was getting ready for school.

I haven't been there in a while, but I figured, I might as well just go. I have nothing better to do and school is out on the 14th, and today's the 1st, Which means there's only 13 more days left of school!

Conner was coming over soon so we could walk to school together.

I went over to my closet, and picked out a light grey crop top, along with a jean blue flannel, and a light pair of shorts.

I straightened my hair down and applied some makeup.

A couple minutes later I got a text from Conner to meet him outside.

I slid on my vans, grabbed my bag and headed out.

"Bye Hun!" My mo waved as I exited the door

"Bye mom!" I replied

"Hey" Conner smiled

"Hey." I smiled.

Conner and I have gotten even closer then we already are. We've grown very, fond of each other.

As we were walking, Conner and I made small talk, and there was not one awkward moment of silence.

"Hey, you wanna hang out later?" He asked

"Ya, sure" I shrugged

"Great." He kept looking down at our hands.

I was about to question him, to make sure he was okay but then, he did something I hadn't expected from him.

He bit his lip, and gently made his hand over to mine, then grabbed it.

I got a slight tense, but I just went with it.

I didn't make any eye contact with him. I just smiled when he looked at me, and then he smiled.

The whole walk to school we held hands.

It wasn't bad at all. I actually, enjoyed it. Conner's a great guy, and we've always had something.

When we got to school, the bell rang and Conner and I walked to our first period together; considering we had the same class.

Conner and I sat next to each other and Mr. What's his face glared at us.

"Oh! They actually showed up!" He shouted with sarcasm

Conner and I looked at each other and scoffed, "douche."

Conner and I didn't really do much for the rest of the period.

We mainly talked, and I swear, Conner was going to ask me out!

He kept dropping lots of hints but never said anything. Who knows? It's probably just innocent flirting. ?
