Ch 25

-Sabrina's Pov

The next day, Conner went home and I texted Shawn if he could come over.

But, there was no answer.

I sighed and threw my phone to the other side of my bed.

Fine. I'll just go to him.

I got up, went over to my closet, and put on some shorts, and a navy blue tee that read Hollister all over it.
I slid my vans on and let my hair down loose.

I jogged down stairs, grabbed my board and started skating to Shawn's house.

On the way, I texted him I was coming over, but still no reply.

I figured he was still sleeping, so I thought of just walking in his house (like we normally do; just walk in) and going up to his room to surprise him.

When I finally arrived at his house, I entered with confidence and greeted his mom who was standing in the kitchen with Aaliyah.

She smiled at me then gave me an unsure look, as if she was confused or hiding something.

"Hey Bri!" She gave me a quick hug

"Hey, how are you?" I smiled

"Good. Good..." She quickly changed the topic,"Are you and Shawn still going out?" She furrowed her eye brows

"Ya, we are" I said in a confused tone.

"Oh" she said simply,"well, Shawn's up in his room." She motioned me to go up

She looked pretty guilty. Is everything ok?

"K thanks!" I flashed one last smile before going up.

Right as I was about to open the door I heard giggles and laughter going on

It sounded like a girl's voice.

I immediately opened the door and burst in.

To see something I wish I hadn't seen before.

Is this really happening? Am I really experiencing this right now?

I felt my heart completely break and I cleared my throat over and over, trying to get that horrible crying feeling out of me.

I wish I had never came.

No, I wish I had never been born.

It was that heartbreaking.
