After a long day of school, it was finally time to go home.
As Conner and I were walking back, he began to get a little nervous.
"Everything ok?" I asked
He nodded yes and gave me half a smile.
I shrugged it off, and kept walking.
He looked at me constantly, as he was debating something in his head.
More along the way, Conner grabbed my arm and stopped.
I looked at him in confusion and he took a deep breath
"Can we hold on for a second?" He asked nervously
"Sure...what's up?"
"Listen, I've been meaning to ask you something." He looked down at the ground, then back at me.
"Ya??" I said, now nervous.
I think we both knew what was about to happen and we were both equally nervous.
Butterflies were storming around my stomach and I was starting to feel sick.
"Sabrina, I know you just got out of a relationship, like 3 weeks ago, but..."
Aw great, he's doing it. Here it comes...
"But..." I motioned him to continue
"I guess what I'm trying to say is, Sabrina, will you go out with me??" He looked at me with kind eyes, as his tall body stood over me like a mountain. I looked up at him and thought about my reply.
What do I do?! What do I say??
"Umm..."
