Ch 39

-Sabrina's Pov

I missed Shawn like crazy, but I knew that was the right thing to do.

It's better if I just stay single.

Forever and die alone with cats

It was the next day now and I thought of going out for a walk.

But then I snapped back into reality and realized I should just stay in bed.

I called my mom various times to come up and give me food, but instead she threw a pillow at me and told me to get up and do it myself.

...so I starved.

*6:30 pm*

It was pouring outside again and I moved from my spot and switched to a comfortable area next to the window to watch the rain drops

When my phone rang.

Shawn appeared on the other line and I felt my heart break into pieces again.

I hesitated on answering.

So I immediately hung up and shut my phone off.

"God shawn, stop making me love you" I cried

"I'm sorry, it's a force of habit." A voice called out.

I looked around in fright, then Shawn came out from behind the door.

"Hey" he said, sniffing away his tears

"Shawn what are you doing here?"

"I need you Sabrina, I can't stop thinking about you." He said, sobbing, as he put his arms on top of his head.

"Shawn please, your making this even harder." I cried

He ran over to me and wrapped his arms around me

"Please, let this be the last day, I just need to get these feelings out" he hugged me as tight as he could and cried on my shoulders

I nodded my head and hugged him back, crying into his chest.

We laid in bed together, saying no words.

We tried to enjoy each others company as long as we could, because we knew, that after this day, things would never go back to the way they were.

*9:00pm*

We remained laying with each other.

Shawn whispered several of sweet, heart warming things in my ear, and I smiled each time

"I can't bare to be apart from you." He whispered

Which broke me.

"Shawn, I love you, bu-

"Then why can't we be together??" He interrupted

"Because, I feel like a complete whore! I cheated on my best friend, with you..." My voice cracked

Shawn held me and rested his head on mine.

"I can't be with the same guy I cheated on with...it's dirty" I finished

"okay. Then I'll wait for you."
