When they went to work the next day, Kirk approached Rose when she was cleaning and asked to speak with her in his office when she was free and she obliged. After lunch hours, she finished what was left for her to do that day and went to see Kirk.
He ushered her in and offered her a seat.
"How are you doing Rose?...I'm good, thank you, and you?...I'm excellent. Do you care for anything? Are you comfortable?...I'm okay please...I know you might be wondering why I asked to speak to you, I will just go straight to the point...okay... do you believe in God?...yes I do...is he the Lord of your life?...I believe in God and I know he created us...alright that's fine, but have you confessed him as your Lord and saviour...no but I believe...Rose, it's not enough to just believe, you have to say it with your mouth that Jesus is Lord of your life. You become born again and you're made a new creation when you do so. Romans 10:9-10 says;
[If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved].
So you see why it's important to confess his Lordship over your life and everything that concerns you?..." Rose paid rapt attention to him and was digesting his words.
"What church do you attend?... I don't have any church for now but I'll find one...look no further, I would like to invite you to worship with us at The New Creation Realities International. Do you know you can live a life of absolute success devoid of worries?...no because I believe life has ups and downs... that is not true, life in Christ is in only one direction; upward and forward...really? I would like to know more".
That was how Kirk succeeded in leading Rose to Christ by making her confess with her mouth what she believed in her heart.
"I tell you that you're now a brand new person without any past... are you sure? Because I have a lot of things I need God to forgive me for... don't worry, once you've confessed, there's no sin in you anymore. 1st Corinthians 5:17 says;
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new". So you're a new species, someone who has never existed before now. I understand this must be new to you, it will take time but as you listen to and study God's word, it will change your mindset... thank you so much, please where's your church located?... why don't you tell me where you live so that I'll pick you up for sunday service... alright, I live with Erasmus due to some circumstances but I'm hoping to get my own place soon with what I'll save from working...okay I will come there at 7:30am to pick you up and I'm looking forward to having a great friendship with you...thank you, I have to leave now, it's past working hours...I can drop you on my way...no, thank you, I'll take a bus...please let me, Erasmus' apartment is on the same road to my house...okay then, if you insist".
