"Hey, you can talk to me, what happened?...there was a drunkard there who started chasing me when I walked past the place and I run as fast as I could but when I thought I had lost him, he caught up with me and_ and he_ he forced himself on me, I tried my best to defend myself but he took advantage of me...he what? You managed to run at the end right...no_ he raped me...oh my God Rose, come here" she was shaking and in tears as the events of that day came rushing back into her mind. Kirk still held her close and rubbed her back

"Hey, look at me, Rose_ everything is alright now, you're okay" she just nodded and buried her face in his chest
"Thank you for telling me, you don't have to go through this alone okay, I'm here for you and you have the almighty God on your side" he took out a handkerchief and wiped her tears. "Look at me, you're a new Rose now and the new Rose is a virgin, have you forgotten what I just told you, you're in Christ now and that makes you a brand new species who never existed before. This happened before you were born again and therefore you were never raped. Even if this happened after you gave your life to Christ, you can make up your mind to have an updated version of yourself, with new features, new abilities and all...really...yes my dear, you are perfectly whole in every sense...thank you so much Kirk, I held back from telling you because I was afraid of your reaction and I wouldn't be able to take it if you begin to disgust me because of it... then you still don't know me well, I would never do that...I can see that now, God bless you...Amen, God bless you too. They went to Aunty Grace's office to inform her that they were leaving since they didn't want the night to catch up with them on their way back

"Kirky, can you excuse Rose and I for a few minutes...sure, I'll be waiting outside" she wanted to talk to Rose.

"My dear, what do you think about this place?...it's really a nice place for the homeless children and God bless you Aunty Grace, you're really doing a marvellous job...Amen, I'm glad you like it and I hope we'll see you anytime Kirk comes to visit...oh yes, I would love to come, that is if he agrees...I'm sure he would. You know he's never brought anyone here except his current family...oh ok...this should tell you something_ you mean more to him than he's letting on...Oh Aunty Grace😀, I don't think so, he's just helping me as a new "born again" Christian...well he's won many souls to Christ with more ladies than guys but he never brings any of them here, just stick around him and you'll know what the Lord has in store for you😉...yes please, thank you...you're welcome dear, let's meet him outside"

They met Kirk outside and he said goodbye to the other helpers and children at the foundling home. They had a bit of a long journey ahead. Kirk kept looking at Rose as he drove and realized she was thinking about something and had a smile plasted on her face

"I hope Aunty Grace wasn't giving you a hard time in there... what_ oh not at all, she just gave me some advice and asked that I visit anytime I can... I trust her to do that😀. Would you like to come with me anytime I'm visiting?...I would love that...alright so I'll let you know...okay...and what advice did she give you?...well that's kinda personal...okay okay, I see, you both are already keeping stuff to yourselves...it's a women's affair😁...can't compete with that, can I?...no🤷‍♀️"

He dropped her off at home and went to his. When she went home, Erasmus wasn't around, she assumed he was in his room so she went to her room to freshen up and settle for the night. After doing that, she wore her sweat pants and a big t-shirt because the weather was cold at night. She was drifting off to sleep when suddenly she heard the door being opened and she opened her eyes to see Erasmus in her room

"Erasmus, are you looking for something? do you need me to do something for you?...uh no, I just wanted to see you, to check if you're back...okay_ yes I'm back, I didn't see you so I assumed you were in your room...oh ok" he sat on her bed and started getting closer, she didn't know what he was up to but didn't think anything of it until he started touching her in an unusual manner

"What are you doing?...come on, you're not a child, you understand what I want... are you serious right now? Please get out of my room, I'm not comfortable with you here...Rose, you know I like you...Erasmus please don't do this..." he wanted to have his way with her but she couldn't allow this repeat itself, she was endued with strength from on high and pushed him hard that he fell with his back hitting the floor

"Why are you acting as if you're pure, after all I wouldn't be the first man to sleep with you...that doesn't give you the right to take advantage of me after I told you what happened to me. I'm really disappointed in you, please get out now... there's another day, remember, you live under my roof" at that point she thought this was the last straw. He had changed, it was as if he wasn't the one talking. She locked the door twice and took out her phone to call Kirk

"Hello Rose...hello Kirk, please can you come for me tomorrow morning earlier than service time?...I could do that, is there any problem?...Erasmus tried to sleep with me, he didn't really get the chance to force himself on me because I pushed him so hard and he might try it again so long as I stay here with him...are you kidding me, how could he. It's quite late now, I would have come for you immediately but make sure you lock your door well and take care of yourself till I come for you okay, then we can figure out where you'll live...okay...yeah and pack your stuff, you won't go back there...okay, I will do so now... don't panic, just breathe...I don't think I can sleep tonight...you will sleep like a baby, let me pray with you"
