When they got to the shelter, Margaret went ahead to embrace Aunty Grace
"That's my girl, you've got so much energy, you almost knocked me off my feet..."
"You can say that again" Kirk commented
"Wow, Maggie the last time I saw you, you were small...Aunty Grace, I'm no more a little girl...I can see that. Come here Rose, give me a hug, what are you waiting for" Rose gave the elderly woman a hug and she asked who the fourth person was
"Wait Aunty Grace, you already know rose?...Oh yes, your brother brought her the last time he visited...I see" trust Margaret to be inquisitive
"So Jane meet Aunty Grace, she's like a second mother to me and Aunty Grace, meet Jane, a very good friend of ours from church" Kirk introduced
"Nice to meet you my dear...nice to meet you too Ma'am...you can call me Aunty Grace...yes please...do feel comfortable here...okay, thank you" they went inside and were catching up on everything they had missed in each others' lives while Rose and Jane were also involved in the conversation. They reminisced Kirk and Margaret's childhood and made fun of some aspects, in all, they were grateful to God for how far he had brought them. Kirk asked to speak to Aunty Grace alone and the ladies took the opportunity to visit each dormitory and check on the children.

"What is it Kirky?... you know you make me feel like I'm still 14 anytime you mention my name like that...hahaha, you know you'll always be my Kirky boy... I can't beat that...okay so what is it? you look a bit nervous...erhmm it's about Rose, what do you think about her?...as in?...I mean in general, her character, her demeanor, you know those things elderly women can see afar...oh ok _I have been waiting for this day...I don't get you...the day you would ask my opinion about a lady you want to settle down with...wait a minute, I never said I was going to settle down...you don't have to tell me Kirk, I've seen the way you look at her...what way do I look at her?...let me just answer your question, that girl is a real gem, she's beautiful inside out. Most times, men are attracted first to what they see so they tend to be led by outward appearances and end up living with monsters in the form of human beings, it takes the Holy Spirit to discern a virtuous woman. Rose is a good woman and she'll be a great helper to you in the near future...Aunty Grace, to be honest with you, I've thought about this thoroughly and I want to ask for her hand in marriage but so many things have happened and I felt it wasn't the right time...there is no particular right time to settle down, plus circumstances might never make you ask for her hand but all you need is the go ahead from the Holy Spirit...we have a program coming up in church and I want to ask her then...that will be awesome, I'm so happy for you son, I knew from the first time you brought her here that she's the one and I can tell she respects you a lot...yes she does, even when she rebukes me, she does so respectfully...oh so she rebukes you...well you know I can be stubborn sometimes...hahaha yes I know...I'll meet the ladies outside, we brought some goodies for the kids...okay, that's kind of you, if there are snacks you can give it to them, we'll handle the rest... sure...let me know when you're ready to leave...yes please"
The ladies on the other hand were playing with the kids on the field and they all looked so happy
"I wonder what Bro.Kirk is discussing with Aunty Grace..."
"Hey ladies, I'm here, sorry for taking so long, please help me offload the items we brought...okay" they went to the car, offloaded everything and started distributing the snacks which the kids were ready to devour. They said thank you with big smiles on their faces to 'Uncle Kirk'.
"God bless you Kirk, for all you do...Amen, God bless you too...is everything okay with Aunty Grace?...oh yes, everything's fine...you kept long so I just thought to ask...yeah, we were discussing something very important...oh ok, thank God she's okay...we've taken a lot of time here, I won't want us to be caught in traffic in the evening, let's take our leave...alright" they said good bye to the kids and also to Aunty Grace. When they got to the car, Margaret instead of occupying the front seat, rushed to sit at the back and urged Rose to sit beside Kirk
"Maggie, what was that for?...sorry Kirk, but Jane and I want to take a nap and you need at least one person to be awake while driving, Rose I'm sure you can handle that..."
"Yes please..." Rose answered, getting a clue of what the two ladies sitting behind were up to, she just shook her head
"Rose are you okay here? Don't let Margaret intimidate you... she's not, don't worry Kirk, I'm cool...alright, let's go then"
They got home quite late and before they retired to their respective rooms, Kirk asked that they hold hands and pray together
"I just felt a strong urge to pray...we are here to pray anytime...thank you ladies, have a blessed night...you too"
Anytime the Holy Spirit inspires you to pray, make sure you do, you may be saving yourself or a loved one from danger and you don't have to be alone, even in class, at work, you can pray under your breath.
