You woke up, breathing heavily. You say up abruptly, hand over your heart. In. Out. In. Out.

You felt a hand pressed against your back, melting in your boyfriend's touch. Allowing him to bring comfort to you, grounding you.

You couldn't get yourself to calm down, Neville could feel your heart rate going back up and moved so he was in front of you. Gently grabbing your face, forcing you to look at him. He cupped your face gently.

" Im here. I'm right here, love. You're ok. What do you need from me" he said quietly.

" Tell me you love me" you say, desperate to cling to something.

" I love you. I love you so much. I really love you. You turn my world, I love you so much" he said smiling at you. You felt yourself become more and more grounded. Taking deep breaths, following Nevilles breathing.

You sighed, exhausted, laying back down. Neville moved to lay down next to you. Moving you so your head against his chest. You found so much comfort in his chest rising and falling. Knowing he is alive and right by you.

"Wanna talk about it" he mumbled.

" It was horrible, neville. You died, and I didn't get to say goodbye or I love you one more time" you say, feeling the tears come back.

" Shhh, it's ok," he said and kissed the top of your head.

" You know," he said, causing you to look up at him.

"Someday, i'm going to marry you" he said with a smile on his face. You giggled at his confessions.

"Someday, i'm going to say yes to your marriage proposal" you reply. Neville leans down and kisses you before squeezing you tightly. You laughed at his actions and settled into his comfort.

He hummed in content over having you close to him. Kissing the top of your head one more time before falling back into sleep. Having you in his arms, him protecting you from the world.
