You were in a beautiful sleep that was abruptly interrupted by your dear husband, George.

You felt yourself being shaken, in an attempt to wake up.

" Georgie, I love you. I love you so much, but the sun is not up therefore I should not be up" you say not even opening your eyes.

You heard George chuckle and you opened your eyes to see that he was quite literally on top of you.

"Hi" he said in a cute giddy voice.

"shhh do you know how to be quiet" you say.

"love, we live alone. I can be as loud as I want" he replied, cheekily. 

" Georgie" you say in a testing tone.

"love of my life" he responded cheekily.

" Why am I awake before the sun." You say raising an eyebrow.

"Well you see...I was watching you sleep" he began.

" You were watching me sleep" you say, cutting him off.

"Yeah yeah that's old news. Anyways. I was watching you sleep and then I realized I wanted cookies. Specifically homemade cookies. Your homemade cookies. I was also thinking about how we have vanilla ice cream in the fridge, that we love on our cookies'' He said, all in one breath and with way too much energy.

You blinked at him a couple times, attempting to process his words.

"Georgie" you say.

"Yes, wife" he replies in a pretend annoyance tone.

" What time is it" you say.

"Do I have to be honest?" he replied.

" Well I could just grab my phone and check so you chose if you want to be honest or not" you said, laughing slightly.

" It's 2 am," he said, squeezing his eyes shut quickly as if closing his eyes meant he disappeared.

" Just so i'm hearing this correctly. You were watching me sleep and then decided to wake me up at 2am so we could make cookies together"

" Yes, wife, yes. You got it" he said smiling big,

" I'm in love with you" you reply, squirming so he would get off of you.

"Awe I love you too...can we make cookies now?" he asked, jumping off the bed and holding his hand out to grab it.

You giggled and grabbed his hand and let him drag you to a standing position.

"I will make cookies with you, but I need a Georgie sweatshirt" you say. He laughed and ran to get one. Leaving you trying to figure out where this energy is coming from.

He handed you a sweatshirt, waiting for you to put it on before throwing you over his shoulder to run to the kitchen.

He turned the light on in the kitchen and set you down on the counter.

" Ok tell me what to do" George said, giddy with excitement.

You threw your head back in laughter at his childlike behavior. Exactly what you fell in love with.
