You were all that went through Cedric Diggory's mind. He had quite the reputation as a player but that all changed when he saw you in the hallway getting to his next class. Since he saw you, all he cared about was getting to know you and being close to you.

He asked everybody about you, wanting to know everything before he finally got up the courage to actually talk to you. He wanted the first impression to be perfect, you seem like the girl that deserves perfect.

He loved the way that your hair would bounce slightly when you walked. Or the way you always turned to look at someone in the eye when they talked. And your smile, merlin he could think about your smile for hours. He often caught himself zoning out just thinking about it.

Today was the day. He was going to introduce himself, he had it all planned out. He would meet you before you got to your next class and reach out his hand. He would introduce himself, do his best to charm, hoping not to get distracted by your smile.

He gave himself a pep talk and started walking in your direction. Everything was going to plan, until it wasn't. What he wasn't expecting was for there to be something on the floor, specifically something that would trip him. He fell, embarrassingly, in front of you. Causing you to jump back in shock.

" Oh my merlin, are you ok?" You say crouching down to make sure he wasn't hurt.

Ced tried to fight through the blush and the pure embarrassment. " what can I say, I think I might be falling for you"

You couldn't help but laugh, " well that may be the best, if not most memorable, introduction i've ever been a part of"

He stood up, you, following his actions. He brushed himself off and reached his hand out, " im Cedric"

You shook his hand, " well Cedric it's nice to meet you"

"I must say you are the most beautiful girl i've ever seen" making it your turn to blush.

" my, you are a sweet talker, Mr. Cedric. Any chance I can hear more of it over a walk after class today?" Cedric's eyes went wide. He did not think he would get this far with you. He assumed it would take at least a month for him to convince you to go on a date with him. Not you asking him out a minute after meeting.

"Too forward?" you questioned filled with insecurity as you watch Cedric not respond right away.

"No no, no. perfect. I- I expected I would have to do a lot more convincing for you to spend time with me. So surprised, is all. I would love a walk, I will be spending my class period thinking of more smooth things to say" grabbing your hand and kissing it.

"I look forward to it, Cedric" turning around and walking into class, smiling.
