You were sitting in the common room attempting to do homework. Emphasis on "attempt". James was currently wrestling? Maybe could be dancing, something, with Sirius. Normally you love their relationship. They make life fun. Their love for each other was such a fun thing to watch. You and remus loved to watch them and glance at each other in a way to say "what did we get ourselves into"

"James," you say, catching his attention, him turning to look at you. Smiling with his stupid sweet smile. The smile that makes you melt every time. Your serious tone quickly went and the sweet tone came back.

" I love you" before he let you finish he replied, " I love you too"

You smile and sigh, looking at him with a "be quiet" look.

" I love you but i'm trying to study and you are distracting me.so please stop distracting me. Could you maybe go somewhere else"

" I understand. My beauty can be distracting. It's my fault, everybody has to have one. Mine truly is a burden." Standing up he walks over to you smiling, sighing dramatically as if it truly was a burden.

You motioned for him to come close to you. Smirking at Sirius before coming over to where you were. You motioned again for him to lean over so you were face to face.

"Can I tell you a secret" you look at him with innocent eyes, the eyes that will get you whatever you want. He nodded with a lot of enthusiasm. You smiled and pulled him in so you could whisper in your ear.

"Your ego hurts sometimes with how big it is" you whisper in his ear.

"Hey" he pouted, making you laugh. You pressed your hand to his cheek and mockingly pouted back at him.

"Did I hurt your ego" you ask with faux sympathy. He huffed and stood up, continuing his dramatic pouting.

You reached out and grabbed him, pulling him onto you before he could protest. You wrap your arms around his waist as he sits on your lap so he cant get away. You press your face on his back and mumble a sorry. Although you're not that sorry, knowing he was jokingly upset.

He knows he has a big ego and he also knows you love it. You hate how much you love and you hate how much he loves that you love it. It only encourages him.

"Just confess your undying love for me and then i'll forgive you" you hear him say making you laugh into his back.

"Well look at me then" he quickly turned to look at you smirking, knowing what you are about to say.

"James fleamont potter, I am madly and recklessly in love with you. You sir, turn my world. You make my heart beat. You are on my mind daily. I love you" you speak dramatically as you cup his face in your hands.

" Oh gross" you hear Sirius groan out. You and James started laughing before he shouted.

" Go kiss remus and leaves us alone"
