You felt the breeze sending a chill down your back while you were running through the forest. You found yourself stopping in your tracks and just taking a deep breath. Taking in your surroundings and looking at the beauty around you. Nature is your favorite place to be. It makes you feel grounded.

You felt a thud against your back having you fall forwards slightly. You felt hands wrap around your waist and bring you upright. You felt yourself being twisted and turned to face the opposite direction. Looking up you see you love. He's looking down at you smiling. You look up smiling at him.

" Sorry, didn't see you stopped, you know you are getting faster," he said with his perfect smile.

Gently running your hand through his bouncy brown hair you giggle lightly. " It's ok Ced," you say.

You pulled away slightly and turned back around. Sighing as you look at nature around you. You felt his hands wrap around your waist once again and his chin rest on top of your head. You two stayed in that position for what felt like eternity but only a moment all at the same time. Being alone with Cedric in nature is all you dream of.

"I like seeing you in nature. I get to see the most relaxed and real version of you. Thats my favorite version of you, you know?" You hear Cedric mumble.

You felt him remove his hands so you turned around to make sure everything was ok.

"Take my hand" he said reaching his hand out for you to grab. You looked at him confused but comply with his request. He interlocks your fingers and pulls you so your head is against his chest. Gently swaying back and forth you relax under his touch.

" Are we. Are we slow dancing right now in the forest?" You say, face still in his chest.

" Yes. Yes we are. And we are going to keep doing it because I happen to thoroughly enjoy having you close to me." He said in a quiet voice, not to disturb the peace around you.

You smile into his chest, something you know he felt. And allowed him to lead you two while you two swayed in the middle of the forest. His one hand still interlocked with yours while the other around your waist. You had your free hand around his neck to ensure the closeness of you two. You felt your heartbeats begin to sync with each other, with what could only be described as serenity. A moment you hope you will never forget and know you will be going back to in times of anxiousness.

You felt Cedric pull away and take his hands to cup your face gently. Looking you in the eye and smiling softly he says, " how did you make me fall in love with you"

"I'll tell you if you tell me how you got me to fall in love with you first" you say with a smile spreading across your face.

"Well I like to think it was my charm and my confidence. Oh and my quidditch abilities. And of course my kissing abilities" he says with a cheeky smile. Continuing he said, " your turn. How did you make me fall in love with you"

You roll your eyes at your boyfriend's dramatics but say, " I think you fell in love with the way I laugh and how I have no volume control." Giggling slightly at the end of your sentence.

He smiled at you laughing along. "I agree. I also fell in love with you because of the way I saw you love people even when no one was looking, well when you thought no one was looking. I saw the way you always put others first and thought that I want to put you first the rest of my life"

Your hand moves to gently rest against his cheek as you see the sincerity in his eyes. "You make me feel so loved, Cedric. You should know though I fell in love with you the same way. I saw how you helped the first years find their classrooms or how you would always be sitting with different people at lunch making sure no one ate alone. I saw how you loved people simply because you thought they deserve it. I am honored to be loved by you. So very honored" Taking a deep breath as you finish your little impromptu speech.

Cedric closed his eyes for a second, taking in the moment in front of him. Opening them again he smiled at you and leaned in, hands still on your face, and kissed you deeply. Smiling when he feels you relax into the kiss. Pulling away he grabbed your hand and spun you once before kissing your temple. He turned and began leading you two back to the castle hand in hand.
