As you walked into Draco's dorm you actively had to remind yourself to take a deep breath. Draco was a lot of things, forgetful was not one of them. So him standing you up on your study date must be an accident. You truly are just hoping he is dead in the infirmary because that's the only valid excuse to stand you up.

You open the door to the dorm and before you can say a word Draco speaks.

"Don't be mad at me"

You cross your arms and look at him, "too late"

In true Draco fashion, he groaned dramatically and let his hands fall to the side of him.

"You're killing me here woman, don't look at me like that. All authoritative and serious. It's really sexy." Draco said, with his stupid signature smirk.

You rolled your eyes, although you mostly did that so you wouldn't smile like you wanted to. "I can be mad at you all I want. You stood me up."

Draco frowned and took a step closer to you, ' I know. And I'm a jerk-"

"A big jerk" you cut in.

"A big jerk," he agreed. " I am sorry though and I do plan on making it up to you."

You let your body relax, knowing this isn't something you want to turn into a big deal. If he has a valid excuse then all is well, if he doesn't then you'll let him squirm a little bit more and then forgive him.

If there's one thing Draco can't handle, it's you being upset, especially upset at him. So you decide to play into that. You looked up at the ceiling with a frown on your face. You then pretended to wipe tears, although it looked real from where Draco was standing.

You continued to stare at the floor as you spoke, " I don't want you to make it up to me, I want you to follow through when you say you're going to do something"

Draco took another step closer to you as he heard how quiet your voice was. His heart breaks at the sound of it. He mentally beat himself up for being the cause of the vulnerability in front of him.

" Love" he said in a quiet voice, a little louder than what you were speaking in.

He took another step so he was now in front of you, " please look at me" he said with all the love he could muster.

You looked up and smiled slightly at how stressed he was. Draco squinted his eyes in what looked like deep thought, trying to figure out the quick change. Then his eyebrows raised in realization.

" and you have the audacity to call me a big jerk, you big jerk." He said in a teasing tone, this time you couldn't stop the smile from forming on your face.

" I am upset, I want to know why you stood me up" you say earnestly.

Draco nodded and pulled you in for a hug. A quick kiss on the top of your head as your head rested on his chest. He spoke, " I was doing extra work with Professor Snape so I could get out of class tomorrow so we could spend time together since its during your free period"

You stiffened at his confession, knowing Draco was a thoughtful boyfriend but even this was next level for him. You mumbled into his chest, "I need to work on staying mad at you for longer"

You could feel his ego growing making you want to take back your words but they were true. "Awe you were mad at me, that's cute. We all know you can't stay mad at me" Draco says.

You pull away and look up at him, chin resting on his sternum, mouth dropped open, "you are so cocky"

He raised an eyebrow in response, smirking at the thoughts he just had. You roll your eyes and poke his chest lightly, " remind me again why I chose you"

"Something to do with being madly in love with me" Draco winks before placing a kiss on your lips.

Pull apart barley to say, " and my ass"

You laugh lightly, " definitely your ass" before kissing him again.
