There you were sitting next to your best friend in class. You were attempting to focus on what the teacher was saying but your friend kept whispering in your ear. All of it about Cedric. Little did she know you've been hooking up with Cedric for two months. You just kept nodding and entertaining her small comments

"He's looking over here" she whispered quickly in your ear. You laugh lightly at her reaction and wink at him.

"Did you just wink at him?" She nearly whispered shouter.. You quickly smacked her, trying not to draw too much to the two of you in the back.

" Maybe" you replied, winking again at him as he turned around at the noise your friend made.

" You did it again" this time smacking you.

" Ok i'm going to tell you something, and you are going to keep your mouth shut or I will hex it so it stays shut" you look her directly in the eyes. She nods quickly, a smile plastered on her face.

" We've been kind of hooking up for the past two months and I have a feeling he's going to ask me out some time soon".

It was almost comical the way her eyes popped out and her jaw dropped. She might as well have fallen out of her chair.

" You will be the death of me" she said, making you laugh. Your laughter caused Cedric to turn his head once again, receiving another and final wink from you.

Class finally finished and you gave your friend another glance, warning of the consequences if she doesn't keep her mouth shut. She simply nodded and winked at you before turning to go to her next class with another friend.

You saw Cedric walked out and you winked, smiling as he walked over to you. He leaned down slightly so he was able to whisper in your ear easily.

"If you wink at me one more time I will have you blushing in two seconds" he whispered.

"Ooo is that a promise Mr.Cedric Diggory" you quip back.

"For you? Absolutely" winking at you.

You begin to walk away but he quickens his step to catch up to you, now walking next to you.

" May I help you" you say as his body comes next to yours.

"actually yes" smiling at you, you raise an eyebrow in response.

"I'm really hoping to go on a date tonight and you happen to be the only one I want to go on that said date with, any chance you can help"

Now you knew he was thinking of asking you out but you were not expecting it to be so soon and in this public of a place. You took a moment to process his words and in those moments Cedric's mind went a million miles per hour. Maybe he misread the moments you two spent together and you weren't actually that interested at all. You broke his spiraling thoughts by speaking.

" You know, I was hoping to go on a date tonight, and between you and me, I was hoping to go on a date with you. So yes, I would love to go on a date with you."

You would have thought you told him he won the lottery, his face lit up and his smile could only be described as priceless.

" Well then, we have a date to go to" reaching his hand out for you to grab it.

" I have class" you reply while laughing.

" And to think I thought you liked me enough to skip class to spend time with but alas I was wrong" moving his hand so it covered his heart.

" Well keep dreaming, lover boy. I'll see you at seven" winking one last time and heading to your next class.
