Chapter 26 - Birthday

~Reader's P.O.V~

Today was the day.

Ciel's 14th birthday

I was kinda nervous, would he like my present or not? We closed the shop up to go to his birthday party at the manor. I decided to just wear a dress that was orange on top and had a navy blue skirt. I had my hair in a high bun and I had on navy blue flats.

"(F/N)? Are you ready? We're about to head out now!" Michelle shouted from downstairs.

"Coming!" I yelled back. I ran downstairs with my purse that held Ciel's present. Louis locked the door and we started for the manor.

"(F/N)? Are you okay?" Lou asked.

"I'm fine, i'm just nervous." I said.

"Nervous for what?" Michelle asked.

"If Ciel will like my present or not." I said. They nodded.

"Im sure he will." Lou said.

"I hope.."

We reached the manor and we were greeted by Lizzy.

"Ahh! (F/N)!" Lizzy squealed in joy as she tackled me with a hug.

"H-hi Lizzy." I said.

"Do you have your present?" Lizzy asked. She nodded.

"Of course! Do you?" She asked. I nodded back.

"Well come on guys! The party is about start!" Lizzy said gesturing us to follow. When we made it into the dining room Ciel was just sitting at his chair with presents in front of him. I noticed me come into the room, I blushed a little.

"You can just put your present on the table." Lizzy told me. I shook my head.

"I rather give it to him myself." I told her.

"Okay, well let's start!" Lizzy exclaimed while clapping her hands.

~Ciel's P.O.V~

"Ugh, parties.. I hate parties..." I said to myself. (F/N) came in with Lizzy and she was wearing a orange top dress with a dark blue skirt. She looked pretty today. She noticed me look at her and she turned away. I knew she still liked me, but I couldn't return the feelings.

"Okay everybody! Today is Ciel's 14th birthday! *everybody claps* So we have cake and drinks. Help yourselves! And Ciel you can open the presents now!" Lizzy announced. I sighed and I reached over for a present. I opened it and looked at it, it was a rainbow collection of eyepatches. I just stared at them. The next present was from Lizzy. I opened it as she watched me anxious to see my reaction. It was a new suit.

"Thanks Lizzy." I said.

"Do you like it?" She asked. I nodded.

"I do." I replied. I looked around and I saw (F/N). She saw me and she gestured me to come over to her. I was a bit confused but I walked over to her. She handed me a little box.

"This is for you." (F/N) said softly. I took it and opened it. It was a ring.

"It's a mood ring, depending on what you feel the ring will change colors to show that. I bought it because you don't really show your emotions so I thought i could help a bit." (F/N) told me. I took it out and put it on my thumb. I looked up at her she blushed a little.

"Thanks." I said. She smiled.

~Reader's P.O.V~

'AHH! I'M SO HAPPY! CIEL LIKES MY GIFT!' I screamed in my head. I walked over to Michelle and gave her a big hug.

"Huh? (F/N)? What a surprise!" Michelle said as she hugged me back.

"I'm so happy! Ciel liked my present." I told her quietly.

"Really? Thats good to hear!" She said back.

"Well, i'm going to get some cake. Want some?" Michelle asked. I shook my head.

"I'm okay, thanks." I said. She smiled then she left to get some cake. Then Lizzy ran towards me.

"Did you give it to him yet?" She asked. I nodded.

"I did." I said.

"What did he say or what did he do?" She asked curious.

"He wore it and he said thanks." I told her. Her smile brightened up and she gave me a big hug.

"I told you he would like it! You had nothing to worry about!" She said as she squeezed me.

"Well, i'm going to get some cake!" She skipped over to the cake happily. I walked over to the doors to get a breath of fresh air but suddenly the doors fly open.

"Hello everybody! I'm here!" A man with red hair shouts.

"G-Grelle?" Ciel asked shocked.

"What are you doing here?!" Ciel yelled.

"It's your birthday! Happy birthday!" He says as he hugged Ciel.

"Hey, where is Sebastian?" He asked. He looked around until he saw me.

"You..i've never seen you before. Who are you?" He said in my face.

"M-My name is (F/N) (L/N)." I told him. He studied me then he hugged me.

"Your cute!" He said.

"T-thanks." I replied.

"Tch. Grelle let (F/N) go." Ciel said annoyed.

"Fine." He said.

"AH! SEBAS-CHAN!" He said in joy. He ran to hug Sebastian who was really ticked off. I laughed to myself.

"Sorry (F/N)." Ciel said.

"It's fine. I like his presence." I said. Ciel looked at me confused.

"He's so happy, its cool." I told him.

"But he's a grim reaper." Ciel said back.

"Really? Wow." I said.

"Let's go talk in my study, too much commotion here." Ciel said. I nodded and we walked to his study. I plopped down on a chair as he sat in the chair behind his desk.

"Well, what do you want to talk about?" I asked. He shrugged.

"Am I your best friend?" I asked.

"I guess, I mean you're the one I hang out with the most." He told me. I smiled.

"I guess that makes us best friends!" I said. But I was totally friend zoned.

"How are you liking your birthday?" I asked.

"Fine." He replied.

"Ugh, Ciel! Your answers are so boring!" I whined.

"Whatever." He said. I laughed.

"(F/N)! It's time to go!" I heard Michelle shout from downstairs.

"Coming!" I shouted back.

"Come on Ciel!" I said as I got up off the chair. He got up and we left to go downstairs.

"Come on (F/N), lets go." Louis said. I nodded.

"Well bye Ciel! Enjoy the rest of your birthday!" I said as I gave him a hug and waved goodbye. Before we headed out the door I saw Ciel's mood ring and it was pink?
