Chapter 38 - What you say

~Reader's P.O.V~
"Would you go out with me?"

"Huh?" I asked. I turned to my right and I see Michelle and Sebastian shuffling away to somewhere else because of what Ciel asked.

"Y-you know what I said." Ciel said embarrassed.

"Do you really mean it?" I asked making sure it wasn't a joke. Ciel then turned to face me looking me dead in the eye.

"I'm positive." What he said made my heart flutter a little. It was weird to hear these things coming out of Ciel's mouth, but at the same time I liked to hear it. My face started to turn pink and I could feel my eyes changing.

"(F/N), your eyes are pink."

"Th-they are?" I asked and he nodded.

"For my answer, I will go out with you." I replied sheepishly as you rested one hand on my eye.

"So does that mean.."

"Yeah, we're a couple." I replied with a red face. I looked up at Ciel and his face was just as red as mine and I started to giggle.

"W-why are you laughing at me?" Ciel asked even more flustered.

"It's nothing, it's just funny how flustered you are." I replied truthfully. "But I'm glad you asked me, to be honest I've been waiting for that question for a while now." You said as you rubbed your temples with your hands.

"I was going to ask you sooner but I didn't have enough courage too." He said and Sebastian and Michelle walked in.

"Sorry to cut your conversation short Young Master, but we must be going now. Pardon us." Sebastian said.

"Alright. I'll see you soon (F/N)." Ciel said as he stood up.

"Okay, bye." You replied waving to him. When they left i screamed into my hands and face planted into the table.

"You okay there?" Michelle asked me and I simply nodded. I looked up at her and smiled.

"We're finally a couple." You said with a blush and a small smile.

"(F/N)! I need to talk to you!" Michelle yelled from downstairs.

"Coming!" I yelled as I got off my bed and ran downstairs. "Yes?" You asked.

"Ciel was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with him." Michelle said as she held the phone low and away.

"Oh, that would be lovely." You replied with a blush and she brought the phone back to her ear.

"She would love a date. Yes, 6:00? That would be perfectly fine. Have a nice date." Michelle said before she hung up.

"Your dates at 6:00." Michelle stated.

"Okay, I'll go get ready now then." I said as I walked back to my room.

I decided to go simple and wear my hair in side bun and curled my hair. I wore a simple white dress that went to my knees and I had on a brown belt. To finish it off, black flats. I walked back downstairs and Michelle looked surprised.

"Opinions?" I asked.

"It's cute, you just got ready faster than I thought." Michelle said.

"I decided to go simple." I told her and she nodded.

"That's good, too much isn't always the answer." Michelle said to me.

"So you think he'll like my outfit?" I asked.

"He'll always like your outfit." Michelle reassured me.

"Okay, I hope."

-Time flies and you and Ciel are already on your date-

"You look nice." Ciel said to me.

"Really? Thanks." I said as I let out a sigh of relief.

"What was with that sigh?" Ciel asked.

"I didn't know how you would react with my simple outfit." I told him.

"You look beautiful in anything you wear." Ciel said to you as he looked straight. A blush started to form on my face and I covered my face with my hands which shocked Ciel.

"A-are you okay?!" Ciel asked worriedly like he did something wrong. I shook my head and laughed a little.

"It just surprised me hearing that from you." I said as I showed my face a bit and gave him a soft smile which made his heart flutter.

"W-well, I want to be nice to my..to my..g-girlfriend." Ciel flustered after saying that word. I couldn't take it anymore so I covered my face again from blushing to hard.

"S-sorry! I didn't know if I should say that word, but I thought you might like it." He said.

"It just shocked me that you would use it. You never really say these things." You said as he gave him another smile.

"Ciel, you know you don't have to act all differently now that we're going out." I told him. "I mean, you didn't act this way toward Lizzy. You don't have to change."

"D-don't say those embarrassing things to me." Ciel said as he covered his face.

"Now you know how I feel." I joked with him.

As Ciel and I were walking around, I started to feel like I was being watched from people, more like we were being watched. Some people would whisper to each other and I actually heard what they said once.

'Is that the earl's new fiancé? What a shame, his old fiancé suited him better. She probably likes him for the money.'

I would hear things all these things and I would start to think if Ciel was better off with Lizzy. I tried to not let those thoughts bother me to much.

"(F/N), are you okay?" Ciel asked me.

"Huh? Yeah, I'm..I'm fine." I told him.

"Okay, tell me if you're not feeling good." Ciel said.

"I will, thank you for worrying about me." I said to him.

We continued to walk through town because it was a place we both loved. It was very beautiful especially when it was getting dark, the lights would turn on and I would leave the place beautiful.

"Ciel, do you think I match you?" I asked. Ciel stopped walking and he turned towards me.

"What makes you say that?" He asked.

"Well, I keep hearing that people say that I don't match you." I said sadly. Ciel turned fully around and he was now facing me.

"Even if they do say that, you are perfect just the way you are." What he said made me all flustered so I covered my face again.

"Ciel! The things you say make me so flustered!"

"What? I didn't really try!"

"But I'm glad to know what you have to say." I told him as I smiled at him.

"Good, I'll always be by your side."
