Chapter 18 - With Alois

~Alois' P.O.V~

"Claude! Is breakfast ready?" I yelled as I came down the stairs from (F/N)'s room.

"It is, but we're waiting for Miss (F/N), your highness." Claude told me as he pushed up his glasses.

"Ugh! She takes so long!" I complained. We then heard somebody walk down the stairs. I turned around and it was (F/N) coming to breakfast.

"(F/N)! (F/N) come site here!" I yelled as I patted the chair next to me.

"O-Oh, sure." She replied blushing. She walked next me and sat down looking around nervously. I leaned on my hand close to her. She looked at me and blushed.

"(F/N), you know I like your (E/C) eyes." I said as I looked into her eyes.

"O-Oh, thank you Alois." She replied. I twirled a piece of her hair in my finger. She sat there looking down, probably because she was blushing. How cute!

"Your highness, breakfast will be served now." Claude said. I clapped my hands.

"Great! (F/N), you're going to enjoy his food!" I told her.

"That's nice." She said as she smiled at me. Her smile was breath taking and I just looked at her in awe.

"A-Alois? Are you okay?" She asked concerned. I grabbed her and gave her a big hug.

"Wha! Alois?" She said out of shock after I pulled her in for a hug.

"I just want to hug you all day!" I said to her hugging her tighter.

"Your Highness, here is your breakfast." Claude said.

"Claude! We're hugging here!" I yelled.

"Alois it's fine. Let's eat shall we?" She asked. I blushed and nodded.

~Reader's P.O.V~

We finished breakfast and Alois and I were in his study. He was doing some paperwork while I sat on a chair reading a book. I looked over from my book and his head was just on the desk. He seemed.. bored. I scooted my chair in front of the desk and set my head down on the desk.

"Are you bored?" I asked.

"Yeah. There's nothing to do." He replied. I started to touch his hair and he stiffened but he got used to it.

"(F/N), you know that I like you, right?" He asked. I stayed quiet for a minute, but I decided to answer.

"Yeah, I know." I replied.

"Do you.. Like me?" He asked. My hand twitched from his hair and I stopped touching it for a second. But I calmed down and started coming through his hair again.

"Alois, I do like you. But as a friend. Right now, there is someone dear to me." I replied nervous to his reaction.

"It's Phantomhive isn't it?" He asked. I was shocked that he knew. Maybe it was obvious.. I was hesitant to answer but I did.

"Yeah... It's Phantomhive.." I replied. He shifted his head so his chin was on the desk. He looked at me. I did the same.

"Are you mad?" I asked.

"If you like him, theres nothing I can do. But you must always come to me when you need help and on the weekends." He told me as he pinched my cheek. I smiled and pinched his back.

"I will." I replied. I kissed his forehead and Alois just stared at me, a blush starting to appear on his face. I smiled at him.

"(F/N) can you.. sleep in my room tonight?" Alois asked.

"What?" I asked in shock.

"You can just sleep on the floor, but sleep in my room?" He answered.

"Fine, since i'm leaving tomorrow anyways." I replied looking away.

"Great! I'll let Claude know later!" He exclaimed as he held my hand.

~Time Skip to night time!~

I changed into a longer night gown and grabbed my pillow and my blanket and headed towards Alois' room. I knocked on the door and waited for a response.

"One minute (F/N)! I'm still changing into my pajamas!" Alois said behind the door.

"Oh, okay!" I replied. Soon he opened the door and he was in his PJ's.

"Come in! Let me show you where you will sleep!" Alois said as he ran into his room.

"Right here!" He said as he pointed to a mattress on the floor next to his bed.

"Thanks." I replied as I threw my stuff on the bed and got into it. Alois blew out the candle and we lie there awkwardly.

"(F/N), did you have fun?" He asked.

"Yeah, i did." I replied looking at the ceiling.

"That's good. You're always a boring person." he replied. 'Wow, thanks.'

"Hey Alois? Did you want to stop by at the Tea shop for a few minutes before you leave when you drop me off?" I asked.

"Yes!" he replied. I giggled.

"Great, i'll show you around I guess." I told him. It went quiet for a minute again. It was awkward too..

"Why do you like Phantomhive?" He asked.

"Uhh.. Well.. He's really thoughtful and nice." I told him.

"Doesn't he have a fiance?" Alois asked.

"I think she broke it off.." I told him.

"And he still might like her too.." I replied. Tears started to form and I flipped to the opposite side of Alois. I sighed.

"Well, Good night." I said. I stayed awake for a few more minutes until I fell into a deep sleep.

I woke up to something around me. I slowly opened my eyes and I see something around my chest. It soon became clearer and it was Alois!

"A-Alois?" I yelled quietly because I was still tired.

"Wha?" He answered sleepily.

"You're kinda on me. I can't really move." I said.

"Too bad." he said as he pulled me tighter towards him. He was asleep on the floor next to me. I sighed.

"How did you end up here?" I asked as I sat up.

"I was lonely." He replied.

"Well, let's go get ready so i can take you to the Tea Shop." I said playing with his hair.

"Okay." He replied.

Later we got in the carriage and Alois and I talked a little. I was wearing a teal dress that hit the floor slightly and some gold heels. I put my hair into a ponytail and let it fall on my shoulders. We finally reached the shop and Michelle was already outside waiting for me.

"Michelle!" I yelled as I ran to hug her, but I was careful not to hurt the baby.

"Welcome back (F/N)!" Michelle said returning the hug.

"Oh, who's your friend?" She asked as she pulled away from the hug.

"Michelle, this is the Earl Alois Trancy." I said.
