From the Tea Shop ~ Ciel X Reader

Chapter 20 - Skill

~Reader's P.O.V~

"Hi! I'm-" I cut myself off from shock because Ciel and Sebastian was in the tea shop. What made it even more awkward was that Lizzy was still with me.

"Hello!" Lizzy exclaimed from behind me.

"Oh! Ciel, Sebastian! Nice seeing you here!" Lizzy continued. I loved how she didn't make things awkward between Ciel and her, but to me thing were VERY awkward.

"Ahh! Welcome back girls! Sit down!" Michelle said to us. I nodded and took a seat, Lizzy next to me.

"OH MY GOSH! You guys will never guess what happened to the both of us!" Lizzy yelled. Everybody looked at us.

"We were done shopping and somebody stole my bag, so (F/N) ran after the thief and kicked him in the back and stopped him! She's so amazing!" Lizzy said clapping her hands together. I gasped.

"Lizzy!" I yelled quietly. 'I didn't want them to know!' Everybody gasped.

"Really?! Are you guys okay?!" Michelle asked worried.

"Yes! thanks to (F/N)! Who knew she was so..Skilled." Lizzy said. I blushed slightly from embarrassment.

"Oh! Paula's here! See you soon (F/N)!" Lizzy waved back to me as she exited the shop. I waved back then I threw my head down.

"Wow! (F/N) a hero!" Michelle said happily.

"But that was pretty careless, what if he had a knife?!" Michelle yelled as she pinched my cheeks. I pouted.

"I did what I did. For Lizzy." When I said that I could see Ciel face towards me.

"Wow, I'm impressed. With all that combat you could be Young Master's personal guard or even protect him." Sebastian said. I blushed slightly but I was still facing down.

"I'm not that good, Sebastian." I replied crossing my arms.

"Even if you're not, you should come over to the manor and I could test your skills." Sebastian replied.

"Sure..Later." I said giving him a fake smile.

Later Ciel and Sebastian left and We closed the shop for the day.

"So, what did you get Ciel?" Michelle asked.

"I got him a mood ring." I said as I flushed a pink color.

"A m-mood ring?" She replied confused.

"Well, I thought that since Ciel doesn't really.. show any emotions, the mood ring will be handy for me." I replied.

"Ohh. That's actually a pretty smart Idea!" Michelle replied.

"I'm sorry (F/N) but I couldn't help but notice the wrap on your ankle. What happened?" Michelle asked worriedly.

"O-Oh! I Um.. Well.. When I went to the ball Ciel and I was dancing and then we both fell and I kinda hurt my ankle.." I replied. Michelle gasped.

"You danced with Ciel?!"

"Wait, you're not worried?"

"I mean I am, but the fact that you danced with Ciel.." Michelle covered her face and flushed red.

"Adorable.." She replied.

"Michelle! That isn't adorable!" I replied blushing. She laughed.

~Ciel's P.O.V~

"Young Master, I have invited (F/N) over to see her skills and abilities." Sebastian said.

"Yeah, yeah." I replied shooing him away. Sebastian bowed and he left my study. '(F/N).. She saved Lizzy?' I couldn't believe it because she seemed like an innocent girl. I couldn't help but keep on thinking of what she said. 'Ciel.. I love you...' Thoughts kept traveling my mind. I still loved Lizzy though.

~Time Skip~

I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in." I replied with my normal bored tone. It was (F/N) She was wearing a different outfit. It had less layers and she had her hair in a ponytail. Probably for her skill test with Sebastian.

"Just wanted to let you know that I came and I will be doing my skill test with Sebastian. That is all, I will be taking my leave." She said. After that she bowed and left my study. Soon she was already outside with sebastian in the garden. He handed her some knives and she had to throw them at the target. She looked well skilled. Could she possibly be working for us soon? I threw away my thoughts and started to focus on my paper work.

~Reader's P.O.V~

"Hya!" I yelled as I threw the knives at the target. I threw three knives, one after another. After I was done Sebastian and I went to go check out my aim.

"You did good, but your aim could be better." Sebastian said. I nodded.

"Who taught you?" He asked.

"Actually, I taught myself. Having my parents both died I decided that I wasn't going to die easily, I wanted to make myself stronger to protect myself." I replied. He nodded.

"Let's go inside and take a break, you may sit at the table. I'll have Young Master come down soon." Sebastian said. I  nodded in agreement and I proceeded to the table.

I sat at the table by myself and looked around, I wanted to entertain myself because I was bored waiting. Soon I saw Ciel heading down. He sat down in his chair and Sebastian handed us some "Cabinet Pudding"

"Thank you." I said. Sebastian nodded. I cut it into pieces and took a bite. Delicious.. It was kind of awkward because nobody was talking but I decided to cut the silence.

"So, Michelle told me it's almost your birthday?" I asked.

"Yeah." He replied. I sighed. I hated one word answers.

"Are you going to do anything for your birthday?" I asked. He shrugged.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah."

"Are you sure?"

"Why are you not talking much?"

"Because." I could feel the annoyance in his voice.

"Because what?" I asked.

"BECAUSE!" Ciel yelled. It kinda startled me.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know. You usually talk to me more." I said with my head flung low.

"I'm sorry (F/N). I didn't mean to upset you. I'm just thinking about how you helped save Lizzy." Ciel replied.

"Upset? I'm (F/N), something like this doesn't make me upset. I'm not your typical WEAK girl Ciel." I replied. He looked at me shock.

"You think every girl is weak don't you? Too bad. I'm not your weak girl." I huffed.

"You're eyes are red. You're mad. " Ciel replied. I looked at him.

"I'm going to become stronger and protect myself from harm. You should think about that, protecting yourself." I replied standing up and started heading to the garden. I was kinda upset now. I didn't want to be mean but now I was mean. Ciel probably doesn't like me anymore.. He never did actually. He mentioned Lizzy too. I sighed.

"I-I'm sorry. I don't know what got over me." I said in the middle of the floor. I continued and headed outside.
