Chapter 40 - Elliot

I think Ciel is pretty hot in that picture. His eye and his smile..ugh..it's so cute..even house fingers XD. I did NOT draw this, I just found it. But yeah.

It was just a normal day at work, with Ciel of course. Ever since he helped the first time, he's been enjoying working there. Ciel and I were helping a customer with their order like any other day until,

"AAAGH!!"

Everybody jumped at the sound of that scream. Ciel and I exchanged looks and I went to go check it out while he helped the customer. I went upstairs to Michelle's room to find Michelle leaning on the bed with a strained face.

"Michelle! Are you okay?!" I asked as I rushed toward her. She shook her head at me, sweat appearing from her face.

"The baby is coming." She said to me, then she made another pained face.

"Oh my gosh, let me call Louis and close up the shop." I said as I grabbed the phone and dialed Louis' number and panicked a little.

"Hello?" Louis said though the phone.

"Louis! Michelle is going through labor right now! Come to the shop quickly!!" I shouted before I hung up. I rushed back to Michelle and helped her onto a comfortable position on the floor.

"I'll be back, let me go get Ciel and close up the shop, just take deep breaths." I ran down stairs and Ciel looked at me a bit worried.

"I'm sorry, we are in an emergency right now. I would have to ask you to leave, please." I asked the customer but they understood and they left.

"Ciel, Michelle is going through labor right now, I need you to dial the hospital right now! Please! I've gotta go help Michelle now!" Then I ran back upstairs to Michelle.

"Michelle?!" I asked as I ran through the room, she was still on the floor taking deep breaths. She looked at me and I held out my hand for her to hold. She took my hand and squeezed it.

"You'll be fine, Ciel is calling the hospital right now Louis is on his way." I rubbed her hand with my thumb. "Just keep taking deep breaths, your almost there."

A few minutes later Louis and Ciel came through the door together. Louis thanked me and he took Michelle's hand and I stood next to Ciel. We were helping out with whatever we could. Then the paramedics came and took Michelle and Louis while Ciel and I stayed back.

"Ugh, I'm so nervous right now." I told Ciel as I leaned on him.

"You could be a doctor." Ciel told me.

"Really? How?" I asked as I suddenly got intrigued by his question.

"You seemed to know a lot about medical things." he replied.

I thought about it and it turns out, I did. My grandma taught me a lot about medical things, it's not like I need them though. Being half demon helped me recover faster. The phone started ringing and I answered it.

"Hello?"

"(F/N), come to the hospital. Room 208." Louis then hung up on me as I was still processing what he said.

"What did they say?" Ciel asked.

"Louis asked for us to go to the hospital. Come on, let's go." I took my things and locked the door to the shop and we walked to the hospital together. When we got there we went to room 208 and Louis greeted us.

"There's somebody we would like you to meet." He said. We walked over to the bed and my eyes sparkled. It was Michelle with a little baby in her arms. She looked up and smiled at me and gestures me to come towards her. I walked by and she handed me the baby.

"His name is Elliot." Michelle said to me. I admired baby Elliot, his little plump rosy cheeks and small hands.

"He's, really cute." I said as I kissed his forehead. I turned to Ciel and asked if he wanted to hold Elliot.

"I g-guess." I carefully handed Elliot to him and his eyes sparkled too. I guess Ciel has never held a baby before, it was really cute seeing Ciel's reaction. Then Elliot held Ciel's finger and Ciel got shocked.

"He likes you Ciel." Michelle said softly.

"This is weird." He replied.

"But it's nice isn't it?" I asked him. He looked at me then he looked away

"It is.." I smiled at him and the. Louis came and took Elliot into his hands.

We all stayed at the hospital and talked about baby Elliot and how things would run with him in the shop. We all decided that I would be the one to run the shop from now on until we got Elliot on a schedule and we could handle both the shop and Elliot. I agreed and Ciel would help out now and then, but he has his own work too.

"Thanks for walking me back." I told Ciel.

"Yeah, whatever." He replied and I laughed at him. I hugged him and pulled back to see his flustered face.

"See you later Ciel, thanks for helping!" I said as I waved to him.

~ A few days later ~
"(F/N)? Can you get me Elliot's bottle?" Michelle said.

"Yeah, just a sec." I finished helping a customer with their order.

"The baby is a lot of work isn't he?" The customer asked,

"You have no idea." I replied. "Have a nice day." I replied. I grabbed Elliot's bottle then ran to bring it to Michelle.

"Thank you." She said to me. I nodded and walked back to the front of the shop and I was greeted by my boyfriend, Ciel.

"Ciel!" I ran and hugged him.

"Hello (F/N)." He replied.

"What brings you here?" I asked. He blushed and looked away.

"I was bored so...I wanted to come see you.." He said flustered. I blushed and mp smiled at his words. Then I started to laugh.

"You can say such romantic things really weird." I joked as I hugged him again.

"Shut up!"
