Chapter 13 - Bored

~Reader's P.O.V~

I brought Ciel down to the dining room. I told him I was going to go talk to Sebastian really quick and he nodded. I quickly rushed over to Sebastian in the kitchen.

"Sebastian, Ciel's over at the table. He agreed to come eat with me." I told him happy.

"Good, now bring over this strawberry tart to him. I'll have the food ready in a few minutes." Sebastian told me. I nodded and I brought the tart to Ciel.

"Here Ciel. Eat this for now." I said as I set the plate in front of him. I took a seat next to him and watched him. He slowly took his fork and knife over to the plate. He cut it then put a piece in his mouth.
"Good isn't it?" I said as I smiled at him.

"Yeah." I replied.

"By the way, I will be spending a day here." I told him. Ciel gave me a surprised look.

"What? Why?" He asked.

"Aww, do you not want me here?" I teased. He blushed a little.

"N-no, I just was never told of this." He replied. I laughed a little.

"I'm staying for a day to comfort you, just call me when you feel lonely." I replied.

"Thanks." He replied eating another piece of tart in his mouth.

"Yep." I replied resting my head on my arms. I was still kinda tired.

"What day is it today?" I asked.

"Umm.. Thursday." Ciel replied eating his tart.

"That means I have to go to the Trancy manor soon." I said with my eyes closed.

"Are you really going to go?" Ciel asked me.

"Well, yeah. I said Yes to him. He was pretty nice to me too." I told him smiling.

"Do you really think he is going to give you more love than me?" Ciel asked. My eyes shot opened and I blushed really hard.

"C-ciel.." I said. He looked at me and gave me a heart warming smile. Sebastian came and gave us steak and some Earl Grey Tea.

"Thank you Sebastian." I said as I took a bit of my steak.

"It's very good." I told him. Sebastian nodded and left us alone.

"Ciel, I don't mean to get into your business but what does Lizzy mean to you now?" I asked. It was quiet and awkward.

"I loved her. But she doesn't love me." He replied.

"Oh, I'm sorry." I replied looking down at my food. I gave a sigh. 'I guess I shouldn't confess.' I thought.

"Don't worry. She told me to forget about her. I guess I'll try." Ciel said.

"C-ciel, what do you think of me.." I asked blushing. He gave me a shocked expression. Then he gave me a smile.

"I think of you as a best friend." He told me. An arrow went through my heart. 'FRIEND ZONED!' I thought in my mind.

"Cool! I guess we're best friends now!" I gave the fakest smile I could. 'It killed me, he doesn't even think of me as anything but a friend, yet why do I keep trying..'

~The next morning..~

I woke up with the light in my face. Sebastian was opening the curtains from my window.
"Sebatian, can I talk to you?" I asked.

"Sure, what is it?" He replied.

"Yesterday, Ciel said he only thinks of me as a friend. I know you know I like him. What should I do?" I asked heart broken.

"My, that's a tough question." Sebastian said. I nodded.

"Hey tell me, does he still have feelings for Lizzy?" I asked.

"That is private stuff." He replied.

"Please? I'm helping you cheer Ciel up!" I begged.

"Fine, yes. Young Master still likes Lady Elizabeth. Maybe you should just confess your love to him to get that out of the way." Sebastian told me as he handed me an outfit to wear.

"I don't know. I'll think about it. thanks Sebastian." I told him with a smile. He bowed and left the room.

I proceeded to put the dress on. It was a cute white dress with blue hemming and poofy white sleeves. It was really cute. I decided to curl my hair and put it into a side ponytail. I admired myself in the mirror, then I put on some light blue flats. I spun around in the mirror once more before leaving my room. I walked downstairs for breakfast and saw Ciel at the table.

"Good morning Ciel." I said as I sat down in the chair next to him.

"Good morning." He said in his monotonous voice.

"What are you going to do today?" I asked.

"Finish my work that I didn't finish yesterday." He said as he sipped his tea.

"Do you need help with anything?" I asked.

"No." He replied. I frowned. It was boring in the manor, there was nothing to do.

"Ciel, i'm bored." I told him. I rolled around in the chair and put my legs over the armrest and my head on the other arm rest.

"Why are you sitting like that?" He asked annoyed.

"I'm bored." I replied.

"Just hang on. You'll be leaving in a few hours." He told me as he sipped his tea.

"Okay." I said as I threw my hands over my head and started waving them like crazy.

~Time Skip to after breakfast~

"Come in." Ciel said after knocked on the door to his study.

"Ciel, I'm bored." I told him as I sat on the floor in front of his desk. I heard him sigh.

"Is that why you came into the room? You're bored." He asked.

"Yep." I replied. I layed on the floor in front of his desk. I just laid there until as song came into my mind. I started singing on the floor and I closed my eyes, continued to sing.
