Chapter 9 - Away

~Reader's P.O.V~

When the day finally came, I told Michelle that I was going out to hang out with Ciel, even though secretly we were supposed to spy on Lizzy. I felt bad and sad, I didn't want to do this because of Lizzy, but Ciel wanted it. He loved her so much. I sighed as i walked to town.

Soon I walked into town and I walked to where Ciel and I were supposed to meet up.

"(F/N)! Over here!" He quietly yelled as he gestured me to come by him. I nodded and hid by a bush with him.

"Wear this." He said as he gave me a detective undercover looking dress. I just stared at it. He pushed it closer to me and I gave in to wear it. I went into a store that had a restroom so I could change and when I came out Ciel was still at the bush.

"What are you looking at?" I asked as I walked towards him and sitting next to him.

He didn't answer, I decided to follow his eyes to see what he was looking at. It kinda broke my heart for me and for him. It was Lizzy. She was talking to the dude at the bakery again. I looked back at Ciel, I could tell he was heart broken. He then got up and I got up with him.

"Go in there." He replied mad.

"What? Me?" I asked surprised.

"Go in there! See what they are talking about, but don't blow your cover. Pretend you're a customer." He said as he pushed me to the door. I gave him a look and I thought I saw a boy looking at me and hid when I turned but must've been me. I sighed and went to the bakery.

I walked to the bakery door, Lizzy and Ren noticed me and they welcomed me. 'I wonder if they noticed me?!' I thought. I walked over to the counter and looked to see what I wanted to order so I could look like I was occupied while I was actually eavesdropping on them.

"Can I have some coffee?" I asked in a disguised voice.

"Sure, thing!" Ren told me. He got the coffee ready and he soon gave it to me. I thanked him and payed him as I sat by a table near by so I could listen.

I sat at the table sipping the Amazing coffee now and then. They were talking about their families, what they liked to do for fun, what Ren's life in the Cafe was. I was getting kind of bored until I heard Ren pull up a question.

"Who was that boy from before?" Ren asked.

"Oh, him? He's just my friend. My best friend actually." She replied. 'Ciel would be so heart broken hearing this.' I thought.

"But since i'm a noble, we're actually betrothed." She told him blushing.

"Wow, really?" Ren replied.

"Yeah, but we're just friends." She replied. I didn't want to hear anymore. I stood up and left the Cafe. I walked around for a while until I bumped into Ciel.

"Oh C-Ciel!" I said surprised.

"What were they talking about?" He asked curious.

"Well.. Umm.. They.." I stuttered. He gave me a look.

"Hey those hot dogs look good!" I said avoiding his question. He grabbed my wrist tight. 'Oww.'  I said in my mind.

"Tell me now." He said in a scary voice. I got scared.

"S-she said that she thinks of you as a friend." You said to him as you looked away.

"I'm sorry." I said looking down. I waited for a response and later Ciel gave me one.

"You have nothing to be sorry for." He said as he put his hands around my arms. I looked up to see his face. He was looking down at me. I blushed a little.

"Well, I should get going now. Michelle would be worried." I said looking away.

"Yeah." I replied.

"I'm back." I replied kinda depressed.

"Hey! Was it fun?" Michelle asked peeking her head out of the kitchen. I sighed.

"No.." I replied going to my room. I reached my bed and I flopped on it. 'What's with him?!' I screamed in my mind. Then my window flew open with a gush of wind.

"What the?" I asked my self. I walked over to the window and looked around before closing it. I turned around and I gasped. There was somebody tall in the corner of my room. He looked like Sebastian but I know he wasn't.

"Who are you?" I asked backing away.

"I have been ordered to come get you." He replied.

"Who?" I asked scared.

"My master." He said as he ran towards me and put a cloth against my face which made me fall asleep.

~Ciel's P.O.V~

"Here is your Earl Grey Tea." Sebastian said as he gave me the tea. I nodded. As I sipped the tea I was thinking about what (F/N) said that Lizzy said. Lizzy only thinks of me as a friend.. That hurts.. Then somebody burst through the door.

"Earl Phantomhive!" Michelle screamed as she burst through the door to me. She grabbed my hands and I almost dropped my tea.

"Woah, Michelle!" I yelled. As I put my tea down.

"What is it?" I asked mad.

"(F/N), she's gone missing!" Michelle yelled with a sad face.

"What?!" I asked. "How?"

"I don't know. I went to check on her in her room but she wasn't there and her window was opened." She said.

"Don't worry, Sebastian and I will get to the bottom of this." I told her calmly to ease her.

"Okay, thank you. She.. She is like a daughter to me." Michelle said. Soon she left and Sebastian and I were investigating about her missing more.

"Hmm... Michelle said something about (F/N) was missing yesterday night. And her window was opened." I told Sebastian.

"I've seen her room before. Her window is kinda high up so no human could've made it out with her and not get hurt." Sebastian said. I nodded.

"A demon then?" I asked.

"Possibly our most likely answer." Sebastian replied. I put my hand on my chin thinking.

"Who else has a demon.." I thought. Then it came to me.

"Alois!" I yelled.

~Reader's P.O.V~

'Where am I?' 'What happened?' I thought. I slowly opened my eyes and I was in a fancy room. Like a room in Ciel's manor. I heard the door openen.

"Ah, I see you have awaken." The tall man from yesterday said. I was really scared. I was planning my escape while I nodded.

When he went to open the curtains I dashed out of the room. I looked around and ran down a staircase. I see a young boy around my age look at me as a ran past him to the door. I tried to open the door but it was locked. I turned around and see that tall man walk towards me. The young boy looked at the both of us. I turned back and unlocked the door and dashed out. I ran as fast as my two legs could bring me. I looked down and noticed i was in a nightgown that went to my thighs. I blushed at myself but I focused on running.

I turned the corner but something grabbed my leg and I fell on the ground.
