Chapter 46 - What are we

I was spending a lot of time with Ciel at the ball, it was an amazing time for me. We talked, danced, ate and drank some punch together. It was like a little date for us. We were talking together when Edward came up to us, Ciel gave him and glare and add award just smirked at him.

"(F/N), can I have this dance with you?" Edward asked as he gave me his hand. Ciel saw and he stepped in between us.

"No, she's dancing with me. I'm her boyfriend." Ciel said as he continued to glare at Edward. I gave Ciel a pat on his shoulder.

"It's okay Ciel, it's just one dance until we leave okay?" I asked as I have him a smile. She looked at me before he sighed and stepped aside.

"Fine, just one more dance." He replied as he crossed his arms and looked away from us. I smiled at his cute jealousness and I took Edward's hand and walked with him to the ballroom.

~Ciel's P.O.V~
I watched (F/N) walk away holding Edwards hand, I'll admit I was a little jealous but I wasn't going to let that show.

"Ciel?" I turned around and I saw Lizzy, she was looking at me with a sympathetic look on her face. She walked towards me and she gave me a hug, not a tight on like usual but a softer one. "You okay?"

"Im fine." I replied as I looked away from her, focusing my gaze on (F/N) and Edward. Lizzy noticed that so she took my hands, I looked at her surprised.

"Don't worry, Ciel! It's just a dance! She would never leave you, I've noticed how (F/N) treats you, she really loves you." Lizzy told me as she smiled at me. I looked at her with shock then I looked away.

There was something about Lizzy that I loved that I never forgot about ever since she broke the engagement with me, i've always loved Lizzy. I pulled Lizzy toward me and soon, our lips met. I looked to my right and I saw (F/N) walking toward us but stopped when she saw us, her eyes wide and they were full of betrayal and sadness.

I quickly pulled away from Lizzy, but (F/N) turned around and walked away from me. "(F/N)!" I yelled as I grabbed onto her hand. She didn't turn around to look at me, instead she kept her head down and her tears fell slowly from her face, she pulled my hand away from hers and she walked toward the door and left. Soon, I saw Edward run toward the door, he gave me a quick glare before he left out the door to catch (F/N).

"I'm sorry, I don't know what happened." I said to Lizzy with my head down. I waited for her to do something to me but k stead I felt her pat my head gently. I looked up at her and she just gave me a sad smile.

"It's okay, I'm sure you didn't mean it. You should go find (F/N), I'm sure she's pretty hurt right now though. Good luck." Lizzy said as she walked away. I summoned Sebastian to take me to the shop so I could talk to (F/N).

~Reader's P.O.V~
I walked back to the shop by myself because of the incident that just happened. How could he? I was in the verge of tear until I heard somebody running towards me. I turned around and I saw that it was Edward. I was somewhat relieved that it wasn't Ciel but at the same time, I wondered why he didn't come.

"Hey! Are you okay?" He asked as he grabbed me by my shoulders. I looked at him then i let my head hang low, I shook my head at him.

"I've been better than right now." I replied.

"Well, let me walk you home."

"Thanks Edward, but for right now, just want to be alone. Have a safe trip home Edward." You said as you continued your path.

"Okay, be safe."

When you finally made it back to your house, Ciel and Sebastian were in there. You hesitated to go in but you had to. You slowly open the door and walked inside, you knew Michelle would welcome you home, she always does.

"Welcome back (F/N)!" She said as she ran toward you and have you a hug. Ciel's head shot up and he stared at you, you on the other hand, did not look at him.

"Thank you, I'll be going straight to my room."

"Why? Ciel and Sebastian are here! Did something happen?"

"Yes, something happened. I'll being going now, I'm feeling a bit sick." And with that, I ran up the stairs to my room and changed out of my dress.

Michelle was really confused with your attitude, you were usually happy but you looked a little stressed and angry. She walked back to Ciel and Sebastian, with a confused and suspicious look on her face.

"Did something happen with (F/N)?" Michelle asked.

"We got into a little fight, I wanted to apologize." Ciel answered as he threw his head down. Michelle nodded, and pointed to the stairs.

"Go ahead, I could tell she needs somebody to cheer her up." Michelle said to Ciel as she gave him a pat. He have her a small smile and walked up the stairs.

*Knock Knock*

"Yeah?" I answered with my voice cracked because I just got done crying.

"It's Ciel." I watched the door then face planted onto the pillow, not bothering to answer. "I want to talk to you in person, but if you don't, I'll talk to you here." He said behind the door.

"What did you want?" I asked a bit stubborn.

"I'm here to say sorry for what happened, I don't know what got to me but I know I shouldn't have done that. I just wanted to let you know and maybe we can have a face to face chat later. Goodnight (F/N)" Ciel said, heard him slowly go back. I ran to open the door and when it opened, Ciel turned around.

"1:00 P.M tomorrow, here. Let's talk, I'll look forward to it Ciel." I said as I stated at him. He gave me a small smile and nodded.

"Sure, I'd like that as well." Then he retreated back down.

I'm glad he accepted, I had to get this problem out of the way before my heart completely breaks. What are we now Ciel?

Sorry for the late update! I was on vacation and I didn't have wifi! But I continued writing for my stories! Yay! BTW, book is ending soon, sequel if you guys like it. Might end this book with a cliffhanger..
