Chapter 34 - Different Sides

~Reader's P.O.V~

Sebastian went into a shop for some business so Ciel and I sat outside on a bench. We watched the people pass by and sometimes we would see couples which made it awkward sometimes.

"Um, (F/N)?" Ciel asked.

"Yeah?"

"Who was that boy you were with?" Ciel asked. I looked up at him, he had a straight face on still.

"Oh, that's my friend Allen. He comes to visit me in the shop." I replied.

"What were you guys doing together?" He asked. 'What's up with all these questions?!' I screamed in my mind.

"Oh you know, just going on a date." I replied smirking. Ciel looked at me, shocked.

"D-date?" He asked. I laughed at his reaction.

"Yes, date. You jealous?" I joked.

"N-NO! I don't get jealous!" He replied. I laughed again and rest my head against his shoulder.

"I'm just joking, you don't need to get mad." I said. He tensed up with me on his shoulder but he kinda got used to it.

"Do you still like me?" I asked.

"Y-yeah." He said. I wasn't looking at him but I knew he had already had a red face.

"My, my Young Master." Sebastian said from out of nowhere.

"S-SEBASTIAN!" Ciel yelled. I lifted my head up from his shoulder and smiled at Sebastian.

"You done?" I asked.

"Yes, I am (F/N)." He replied. I got up and stretched a bit.

"Well, I better go. Michelle might be waiting for me. I was just on break. See ya." I replied, but before I could leave Ciel poked me with his "walking stick".

"Let us walk you there." He replied with a blush.

"Thanks." I said with a smile.

~Ciel's P.O.V~

I offered to walk (F/N) back to the Tea Shop and (F/N) agreed. There was an awkward silence between all of us, I wanted to talk but I didn't know what to talk about.

"Oh, would you guys like to come in for some tea while you guys are still here?" (F/N) asked. I looked up at Sebastian for his answer and he nodded.

"That would be nice, thank you." I replied. (F/N) gave me a smile.

"Great!" She replied again.

When we made it to the shop, Michelle greeted all of us and (F/N) prepared some tea for us.

"Do you want your usual Ciel? Earl Grey?" (F/N) asked.

"Yeah." I replied and she nodded.

I studied how (F/N) made the tea, she brewed water and got the tea out. It was kind of an interesting process. I guess (F/N) noticed me staring at her actions too.

"Would you like to help? You seem really interested." (F/N) told me with a smile.

"S-sure." I replied. I got up from my chair and walked over to her and she showed me what to do.

"Okay, now carefully pour the water over the tea." I nodded and did exactly what she told me to do.

"Great, thats basically what we do. Now we just wait a bit." She said.

"Do you always make tea?" I ask.

"Most of the time. Since Louis is busy with other work and I don't really want Michelle working because she's pregnant." (F/N) told me.

"I see."

After we drank some tea, Sebastian and I decided to leave to go back to the manor. (F/N) and I chatted up some good conversations in the shop too.

"Bye, have a safe trip!" (F/N) said as she waved us goodbye.

"(F-F/N)?" I asked.

"Yeah?"

"Umm..Do you want to...umm..nevermind." I said as I dropped my head a bit disappointed in myself.

"Oh, okay." (F/N) replied.

"See ya." I said as I walked away.

"Bye."

~Reader's P.O.V~

After Ciel and Sebastian left the shop I went back in and groaned on a chair.

"What's wrong?" Michelle asked as she came out from the kitchen.

"He was this close! THIS CLOSE!" I replied using my fingers to explain.

"'This close' to what?" Michelle asked again.

"To asking me out. I can tell he was trying to ask me out he just didn't have enough courage." I said and sighed.

"Well, Ciel isn't a kid who would ask people out, so just be a little patience for him." Michelle said.

"Yeah..I guess so." I said.

"Hey, How many weeks do you have left?" I asked. Michelle thought and looked at her belly.

"Umm..About 3 or 4 weeks?" Michelle said.

"Really? Ahh! I can't wait!" I squealed in my chair.

A few days later, Ciel asked if I could come to his manor. He wanted to ask me some questions about me demon side. As always, I said yes.

"Hey." I said as I entered Ciel's study.

"Good Afternoon (F/N)." He replied. I nodded and stood in front of his desk.

"What did you want to know?" I asked. He looked up at me. Eyes staring into each other.

"What's it like as a half demon?" He asked.

"What kind of question is that?" I replied.

"Come on, I want to know." He said.

"Fine, well being a half demon isn't that bad. At times it can really help, it helps with my strength a bit and my power. Plus my colorful eyes." I said as my eyes changed colors to a light blue. Ciel didn't answer instead he kept staring into my eyes, like he was studying them.

"Sorry, I don't know a lot about my demon powers, my parents, they didn't tell me much about that side of me. I never used my demon side either. It can get deadly sometimes so I rather not go there." I continued.

"How about I ask Sebastian to help you with your demon side? He'll help you use it and control it, he is a demon anyways." Ciel said.

"I guess that would be okay since I don't really know anything about being a demon. I'll ask Michelle when I go back. But since she's almost at her final stage I'll half to help at the shop more." I said and he nodded.

"That would be fine. I'll talk to Sebastian about this too." Ciel replied.

'Using my demon side huh? This is going to be interesting.'
