Ukraine let out a small groan as he was stirred awake due to someone moving him. He slowly opened his eyes, tiredly glancing up. Oh... It was just Canada. Wait- Canada?!
Ukraine flinched, his eyes widening as he once again looked up. Canada just flashed him a smile and picked him up, carrying Ukraine out of the room. As Ukraine looked back, he noticed that America was nowhere in sight, which made him worry. As much as Ukraine wanted to fight back and resist, he didn't. The Ukrainian simply remained still, mostly out of fear.
The Ukrainian glanced up at Canada once more, staring up at him, examining the Canadian's expression carefully. Canada had a smile on his face, but- Ukraine saw a little bit of... Worry...? Hesitation, even. The Slavic started to feel nervous.
Suddenly, the Canadian stopped in front of a black van that Ukraine had never even seen before. Ukraine let a small whimper slip past his lips as Canada set him down onto his feet, before grabbing onto Ukraine's shoulders, leaning down to the Ukrainian's height.
"Ukie, dear. My friend will take very good care of you, i promise. I have some things to deal with, and once i'm done, i'll get back to you immediately, okay?" Canada said in a sweet, caring voice as he kissed Ukraine's forehead. As much as Ukraine didn't want to be even near Canada at this point, he still could not help but to grasp onto Canada's shirt, whimpering. "Wh- What if they h- h- hurt me-?" Ukraine whimpered out, looking up at Canada with a pleading expression.
Even if Ukraine didn't like Canada, at least he knew the Canadian wouldn't hurt him. That provided some comfort.
"Oh, my dear- I would never let them do such a thing. If they hurt you, tell me and i'll make sure they never do that again, okay?" The Canadian whispered softly, cupping Ukraine's face, pulling the smaller male into a kiss. The kiss was short-lived, though, as with a great deal of hesitation, Ukraine pulled away and let go of Canada's shirt, taking a step back.
Canada simply sighed, as he was not too surprised with that reaction. He grabbed Ukraine's wrist, turning the Ukrainian around, forcing the man's hands behind his back, tying them together with some rope that he had. "I'm very sorry for having to tie you up. It's just for safety's sake." The Canadian muttered, patting Ukraine's head. He opened the van's back door and nudged Ukraine, as to let him know he had to get in.
"W- Wait-!" Ukraine yelped, pushing back. He may or may not have basically shoved himself against Canada, causing the Canadian to let out a small gasp of surprise. "Hey, be careful!" Canada said, grasping Ukraine by the waist, making sure Ukraine did not fall over. "Did you want to say something?" Canada asked. God, if only Canada was always this caring.
"Wh- Where is A- Ame...?" Ukraine whispered, turning his head to look up at Canada. The Canadian let out a small, heartwarming chuckle and patted Ukraine's head. "Oh, dear. If you think i hurt him, i didn't. He's in the cabin, sleeping. Go on now." Canada smiled, helping Ukraine up into the van.
Ukraine opened his mouth to say something, but was cut off by the door closing. As the van started up, Ukraine looked over at the driver's seat. There sat- someone. They were dressed in all black. They had a cap, a face mask and shades on, as well as black, leather gloves. Ukraine gritted his teeth and simply stared at the person, trying to figure out if he knew them. The one thing clear as day was their long, curly, ginger hair. A woman..?
"H-...H- Hello..?" Ukraine stuttered due to nervousness. "Hello there. I won't harm you, if that's what you're worried about. I'm just here to do as Na- Canada told me to." The woman's rather high pitched voice answered, correcting herself as she was about to call Canada by his nickname. The woman put the car in reverse and backed out of the driveway, before driving down the dirt road.
"...O- Okay..." Ukraine said, glancing down. He went completely silent, unsure of what to say. After a minute or two of silence, Ukraine raised his head and opened his mouth to say something, but was immediately cut off. "Canada has to deal with the police and get them off his trail. That's why i'm driving you to another location." The lady answered Ukraine's question before he had even asked it, making Ukraine feel- on edge and rather uncomfortable.
"If i were you, i'd get comfortable, because this will be one, long, car ride." The woman said, keeping her eyes glued onto the road ahead of her. Or- well, that's what Ukraine thought she did, since she had shades on, and she didn't seem to be turning her head to look at him. "I-...I- It's hard to g- get comfortable with m- my hands tied behind my b- back..." Ukraine mumbled, pulling at his restraints as he laid down on his side.
"Well, i can't exactly untie you. I can't risk it." She said in a tone that puzzled Ukraine. She didn't sound happy, nor did she sound sad or angry. Her tone was always- void of any emotions. It made Ukraine feel- pity. What did she get herself into? Why would she ever agree to this? Did she owe Canada, or did Canada pay her a butt load of cash to make her do this? Well, the only way to find out is to befriend her... Or try to, anyways.
