"Nada- What is this-?" Ukraine asked, gripping the railing.
"Jump!" Canada smiled.
"But-"
"Come on, i'll catch you!
"No you wont, you did something like this back in middleschool." Ukraine pouted, looking away. He turned to the balcony door, ready to walk back inside and stop this nonsense, but Canada called after him. "Come, i promise i'll catch you! You can trust me!"Ukraine groaned, but turned back around and walked over to the balcony's railing, looking down at the other. "If you don't, is wear to god i'll kill yOu-" Ukraine hissed, but Canada only laughed and dismissed him. "Death by you is the only death i wouldn't mind~" Canada flirted, earing a glare from the other. "Now, hop hop." Ukraine groaned as he did as he was told to. He climbed over the railing, sitting down on it as he looked down. The ground looked so far away... "Why are we even doing this-" Ukraine huffed, giving the other a weird look. Did Canada want Ukraine to break a leg or something, since that was what this whole thing looked like.
"Well, Australia said that i need to earn your trust, so, here we are!" Canada smiled, a lighthearted laugh leaving his throat as he looked up at the Ukrainian, ignoring the weirded out look he received in return. "That- That isn't how this worKs-" Ukraine whined.
"But it could be!" Canada insisted. "Come on, you know i'm strong, let me catch you, my damsel in distress~!" He added, giggling. "Do you promise to catch me??" Ukraine asked, staring down at the ground below. Sure, it had a bit of leftover snow from the winter. It was spring, sure, but there was snow all the year around it seemed. "Of course!!" Canada giggled.
"O- Okay-" Ukraine let go of the railing, only relying on his balance now. He didn't want to do this, that much was clear. Was this how Canada thought gaining trust worked? If so, Canada really needed to figure out where he went wrong.
He jumped.
Honestly, Ukraine couldn't even describe the feeling- He certainly did not trust Canada to catch him, so the adrenaline rushing through him, preparing him for pain was almost amazing. Ukraine shut his eyes tightly, not wanting to look. He didn't want to look. If he did, he'd cry, and he didn't want to cry.
Ukraine felt his body seemingly hitting the ground, but- there was nothing other than some shock. He slowly opened his eyes at the sound of Canada's laughter, only to find himself on top of the laughing Canadian, who had fallen over. Ukraine stared down at Canada for a mere moment, before he felt his lips curl into a smile, laughter soon leaving his mouth. "I've forgotten what your laughter sounds like! So adorAbLe-" Canada purred, holding Ukraine close despite the pain he felt in his back from hitting the ground. It was almost comical.
"Is not!!" Ukraine protested, only for his angry tone to be cut off by his own laughter. "It's not my fault your laugh is contagious!" He said to Canada, before rolling off of him. Well- He did roll off of Canada, but the Canadian rolled with him, now getting on top of Ukraine. "Come onnn, let me hold you in my armsss~" Canada cooed, nuzzling into the other's neck.
"O- Okay, okAy- just- get off of me you loG, you're crushing me!" Ukraine whined, only for the Canadian to laugh at his tone.
"What, don't you want to be a pancake~? You've got the sweet part down~"
"N- No! I don't want to be a human pancaKe!"
"Yes you doooo~"
"StoPPPPP-!" Ukraine shoved Canada off of himself.Canada laughed, sitting up. He tried to, at least, because as soon as he did, something cold and hard hit his face, causing him to fall back. "H- Huh-" He grumbled. "Attack!!" Ukraine giggled, sweeping up snow into his arms, tossing it onto Canada before he could even react. "oH, i sEE hOw iT iS-" The Canadian gasped, grabbing a handful of snow, forming a snowball, before throwing it at Ukraine, managing to hit him in the upper arm.
"How dare yOu??" Ukraine yelped, ducking behind a tree, Canada doing the same. "No, yOU started thiS!" Canada responded. "Don't start something you won't finish!" He giggled. There they were, a kidnapper and his victim playing around like they were best friends they used to be. It was almost poetic.
Snowballs were exchanged, laughs and 'insults' were as well and by the time they were done, Canada was laying in the snow and mud, smiling from ear to ear, face red. "Ukraineee, come warm me uppp~" Canada grinned, sitting up. No response. No Ukraine either.
"...Ukraine-?"
