Ukraine opened his eyes, finding himself still in Canada's arms, his hair being played around with. "...D- Did i doze off-?" Ukraine asked. "Mhm, sure did. You were asleep for maybe 20 minutes? I didn't want to wake you. You looked so peaceful." Canada smiled. Ukraine glanced up at the other tiredly, giving him a dumb smile which made Canada's stone cold heart absolutely melt.  "Awh- You look like a small, tired puppy!" Canada giggled softly, pulling Ukraine closer to him, if that was even possible.

Ukraine's mind was screaming at him to pull away, to run- but- he didn't. He let his heart control him as he laid his head onto Canada's chest, gently snaking his hands around Canada. "... If i were a dog, what breed would i be?" Ukraine asked, as the other's remark had him thinking. Ukraine surely thought of himself as a collie. There was no particular reason, he just associated himself with that dog breed. "Man, asking some real tough questions, eh?" Canada giggled, taking in the other's adorable nature. "I'd say Australian Shepherd for sure! Australia has one and Jesus they're the most adorable thing on the planet! Quite like youuu~" Canada cooed, making Ukraine hide his blushing face.

"What do you see yourself as, hm?" The Canadian's question had Ukraine raising his head, his face still red. "I- It sounds stupid now that i think of it." Ukraine smiled, shaking his head. "No, no, i'd love to hear it!" Canada said, his eyes filled with curiousity and excitement.
"Come onn, you know me well, guess!"
"But how can i guess? There are a million dog breeds out there!"
"Think, Nada, thiNk-" Ukraine giggled, but Canada fell silent. There was an awkward silence between the two, so the Ukrainian decided to look up, scared that he did something wrong, but.. The only thing he saw was Canada's eyes that were starstruck and filled with happiness unmatched by any other. "...Canada?" Ukraine asked.

"YouactuallycalledmenaDAAAAAA~!!" Canada squealed, hugging Ukraine close, squeezing him a little too harshly. "L- LeT- gO-" Ukraine wheezed, and, soon enough, Canada eased his grip on the smaller man, leaving Ukraine giggling. "Is that what you're excited about?" the Ukrainian held back his laughter, looking up into the other's eyes.

"How can i not be?? You haven't called me that for ages!" Canada grinned, giving Ukraine soft kisses all over his face, except for his lips. He avoided those. "I missed that!" He squeaked, pulling Ukraine awfully close. The Ukrainian felt his heart skip a beat, how could it not? But- the reality was slowly starting to set in. He- He couldn't-

"What's wrong, dear?" Canada asked, noticing the souring look on Ukraine's face. "...This... It's... It's nothing! You still haven't told me what dog breed i think of myself as!" Ukraine forced a soft smile, but it didn't slip past Canada.
"What's wrong." Canada asked, this time more assertively.
"It's nothing.." Ukraine huffed, looking away.
"It's not nothing."
"Yes it is-!"
"Then why are you upset over nothing??"
"Grr, i just don't want to make you mad!" Ukraine snapped, sitting up. He wanted to walk off, to run away, but Canada didn't let him. Canada grabbed Ukraine's wrists before he could even get to go anywhere, forcing the Ukrainian to continue sitting on his lower torso.

"L- Let go of me-!!" Ukraine tried to pull his hands away, but it didn't  work. It didn't work. It didn't work. Why didn't it work?? "Ukraine-" Canada said, trying to remain calm. "Ukraine, stop acting like this-" He growled, but Ukraine didn't listen.

Not knowing what else to do, Canada flipped the two of them around, pinning Ukraine down to the sofa.... But- as soon as he saw the tears streaming down his face, Canada couldn't help but to feel bad. "No more running- Okay? No more. I'm here- Just- talk to me! Please!" Canada practically begged, holding Ukraine's wrists tightly. "N- No-!" Ukraine protested, kicking his legs up, sobbing. It was hard to breathe. He felt trapped. He was trapped. "I want to help!" Canada was interrupted. "Y- You can't, okay?? Y- You can't!"  He hissed, turning his head to the side.

"I- I want to go home- I want to go home so bad..–" Ukraine sniffled, slowly opening the eyes that he hadn't realized he closed when he felt a kiss on his cheek. "I know you do.." Canada whispered. "I want to let you go, but i can't, you know...?"
"Why can't you? Why??" Ukraine choked back a sob, his struggles dying down.
"Because-"
"B- Because what, huh?? You wont like it?? I want- I want to see my s- sister- and- and my dad- and my brothers-" Ukraine absolutely broke down, unable to stop the tears from flowing at the thought of what he must've put his family through. "Because if i do we can't be together!" Canada raised his voice slightly, which immediately had Ukraine go silent. "I want you to be with me- If you help me cover this mess up, i'll let you go, i promise-" Canada said, hands shaking. "I... I never meant to take it this far-" He felt the words die down in his throat, but he had to pull through. He had to.

"T- That doesn't change what happened!" Ukraine yelled, crying his heart out. It was hard to process all of this. It was. "I know-! and- i'm sorry, okay-??" Canada mumbled, letting go of Ukraine's wrists, simply leaning down, nuzzling into Ukraine's neck, letting himself weigh the poor man down. "...I'm sorry.." The Canadian whispered, flinching as he felt Ukraine's arms pull him into an embrace.

Ukraine had never seen Canada like that... He... He must be telling the truth, right?
