💖 Sorry for the long wait
They sat in silence for a minute or two, trying to come up with ideas on how to escape. If they remained together, there was a good possibility at least one of them could escape.
Ukraine opened his mouth to say something, but the words died in his throat as he heard footsteps approaching the door. He urgently motioned for America to pretend he was asleep, before rolling over onto his back. Ukraine let out a small whimper as the pain worsened due to his movements.
Quickly enough, the door opened and Canada slowly stepped inside, carrying two cups of tea. He closed the door with his hip, before making his way over to Ukraine. The Ukrainian simply stared at the Canadian as he set the two cups down on the bedside table, before once again sitting down on the bed, next to Ukraine. Canada reached his hand out, gently cupping the smaller male's cheek, softly caressing his face. "Would you like any painkillers? You look like you're in a lot pain." Canada mumbled, sounding worried.
Ukraine shook his head, shaking the other's hand off of his face in the process. "U- Uhm-...I- I'm good.." He whispered quietly, his eyes flickering over to America. Ukraine wished the American could help him right now, but- god knows what would happen to America if Canada saw that he was awake already.
"Dear?" Canada asked, staring into the Ukrainian's eyes. It was obvious he had seen Ukraine look over at America, and that fact made Ukraine flinch. "Y- Yes??" He asked, immediately looking over at Canada, nervousness being present in his expression.
"Please. Don't ever try to run away again... It hurts me." Canada mumbled, once again cupping Ukraine's cheeks, pulling his face closer, causing the Ukrainian to wince and whimper. Canada ignored it and just leaned down, placing a gentle, caring kiss on the Ukrainian's lips. Ukraine was taken aback by that, but- did not try to pull away. Nor did he kiss back, really. He just sat there, frozen.
Once Canada noticed that Ukraine had no intentions of returning the affection, he pulled away, frowning. Ukraine stared up at the Canadian, eyes open wide in surprise. "O- Oh- i-" Ukraine stuttered, a small blush creeping onto his face as he finally snapped out of his thoughts. "I- Im sorry- i- erm- i-" The Ukrainian tried to explain, but got silenced by Canada once again pushing his lips against Ukraine's, leaning into him, forcing Ukraine to lay back down.
The Ukrainian whimpered, trying to turn his head away as the disgust finally hit him. He couldn't even feel the pain in his stomach over all the adrenaline that kicked in when Canada grabbed Ukraine's wrists, pinning them down to the bed. Ukraine tried to struggle against Canada, but was unsuccessful at doing so.
"G- Get off of him-!" America hissed, grabbing Canada by his shirt, pulling hin off of the bed and onto the ground. Due to the gunshots to his leg and stomach, America couldn't stand properly, but that did not stop him from getting up on his knees to force that bastard off of the poor Ukrainian.
Canada growled as he hit the ground with a thud. Before America could manage to punch him, he grabbed the American's wrist, twisting it painfully, causing America to hiss in pain. As Canada quickly got up, America grabbed the Canadian by the ankles and pulled on them harshly, causing his brother to once again fall to the ground. A growl left Canada's mouth as he turned over onto his back, only to be met by an angry America, who harshly grabbed his throat, squeezing it tightly.
Canada tried to gasp for air, but failed to get any. He desperately clawed at America's arms, neck and face in an attempt to free himself.
"S- StOP!!" Ukraine cried out. America's grip on Canada's neck loosened, but he did not let go just yet. Canada gasped for air as America looked over at Ukraine, who was a sobbing mess, shaking, fright visible in his eyes. America's look softened, but before he could do anything else, he recieved a hard punch to the face, sending him tumbling off of Canada. The Canadian growled under his breath, panting as he got up. His legs shook a little as he tried to catch his breath properly. Not sparing the sobbing Ukrainian a single glance, Canada hurried out of the room as his nose bled, locking the door behind himself.
America shakily got up, using the bed for support as he tried his best to ignore the pain in his stomach and leg. He sat down on the bed, pulling Ukraine in a bear hug. "Shhh- Sh- I- Its okay- It's okay- I won't l- let him hurt you- I promise-" America tried comfort Ukraine as the younger male sobbed into his chest, hugging him tightly. God, it felt like his stomach was on fire- it hurt. Badly. He ignored it, though. His main focus was calming Ukraine down.
"...Y- You're safe with me- I'll protect y- you.. I'll get y- y- you home... You h- have my word.." America whispered, holding Ukraine close, gently rubbing Ukraine's back. He moved his other hand to play with the other's hair. The Slavic's sobs turned to whimpers, and the whimpers turned into silence as he felt Ukraine's body relax in his arms.
America paused. "...Ukraine?" He whispered, only to get absolutely no response. He tilted his head to the side to try to get a better look of Ukraine's face. Oh- Ukraine was asleep. The American slowly and gently laid Ukraine down on the bed, wincing as he pulled the blanket over Ukraine, to keep the poor Ukrainian warm. America hissed in pain as he got off of the bed and onto his mattress, deciding to let the other rest. He could tell that Ukraine really could use some of that rest.
Since America wasn't tired at all, he might as well use that time to think of an escape plan..
