Alex's POV:
After my encounter with the sexy girl in the window, I grabbed A black pair of somewhat skinny jeans and my Panic at the Disco T-shirt. Then I practically skipped down the stairs.
After getting showered and dressed for an hour, mom and Angela had already made a triple layer fudge cake. "Hey, Ange." I said. She laughed.
"Alex, guess what?" She asked. I shrugged. "Me and you get to take this cake to the neighbors!"
"Really?" I asked. "Sounds fun!" I picked her up. "Grab your shoes and we can go."
She ran into the other room to grab her shoes. I grabbed the cake which mom had just put in a cake container. "If they ask," she said, "They can keep the container." I nodded at her.
Angela ran back into the kitchen/dining room. "I'm ready now!" She yelled.
"Okay," I said, walking to the front and opening it with my free hand. Angela ran out, jumping on the steps of the porch. "Wait up, Ange," I called out as she started running down the sidewalk.
I caught up to her just as we were reaching the next door porch. They only had two steps in front of their home, so Angela jumped over the first onto the second. My legs were long enough that I skipped a step.
When I reached the door, I rang the doorbell. Their was a screen door in front of the white base-door. After about thirty seconds, a women my height, who was much slimmer than me, and look about 36 opened the base door.
With my free hand I opened the screen door. "Hi," she said. "What can I do for you?"
"Hi," I said. "We're--uh---" then the girl from the window came down the stairs in the background. She had on short black jean shorts and a white crop top with a black heart in the middle. My words got caught in my mouth. She was so beautiful. Her long brown and blondish hair. She had on a light pink lip gloss and some black and white hooped earrings.
The sound of my sister's voice brought me back from the best dream I've ever had. "Me and my mommy made you a cake!" She said.
"Oh, really?" The woman asked sweetly. I nodded handing her the cake.
Nina's POV:
"We're the Walkers. From next door," the cute boy told my mom. I felt a little disappointed, because I was hoping for Alex, but his last name, from what I remember and what my yearbook confirms, was Jenson.
"Well, it was nice of you to come and bring us this cake," my mom said.
"Oh," he said, "I almost forgot my mom's invitng you all for Sunday dinner tomorrow."
My mom nodded. "Sounds wonderful. We'll be there."
He nodded at my mom, picked up his younger sister and turned around. They started to walk away as my mom started to close the door. "Can I take a walk?" I asked my mom.
"Trying to talk to that boy?" She asked half-smirk, half-seriousness on her face.
"Never," I said in a high-pitched voice then laughed.
"Don't be long." But before she finished, I was out of the door.
"Hey!" I called out! "Walker!" Then he stopped when he saw me he set his sister down and said something to her that I couldn't make out from this distance. She started to walk back towards her house and he started to walk towards me, smiling.
I couldn't help but smile back. He was just so cute. "Hey, perv." I said.
"What?" He asked, confused.
"For our first time meeting, I think we were way underdressed!" He nodde.
"So, maybe next time we meet it could be at movie or something?"
I laughed at how confident he was that I'd say yes.
"Maybe. Depends on how the dinner goes tomorrow."
Then it was him chuckling at me.
"Well, promise that we won't have anymore naked encounters," I said starting to turn around.
"Wait." He said, grabbing my arm from behind me, turning me back around, our hands holding each others. "We just met. And you're gonna leave already?"
I nodded. "I barely know you," I laughed, walking away.
"Bye!" He called out. "Love you too!"
