Alex's POV:

Today is Thursday, November 27th. Also known as Thanksgiving. Joan and my mom have been planning the feast/party that we are going to be having for nearly two weeks, now.

Its also been almost three weeks since Nina's dad, whose name I found out is also Paul, showed back up in her life. So I still call Paul, Paul and I call Nina's dad Mr. P.

Nina and her dad have been hanging out all the time this past month. She's still trying to forgive him, but she really just wants her family back whole again.

Its only 5:00 pm and we're planning to have the dinner at 6:30. I walk next door. Were having the dinner at Nina's house, because they have a dining room with enough seats for everyone.

I walk up to the door and knock the times. There was an immediate answer. "Hey," Nina said, then she kissed me, long and passionate.

"Hey," I said, "Happy Thanksgiving." She pulled me in, closing the door behind me.

"I am so thankful for you," she said. "And I want to show you it."

She dragged me upstairs and into her room. She closed the door, locked it, and turned on some music.

Then she unzipped the side of the brown, ruffled dress she was wearing, and pulled it off. Then I said, "Right now? Aren't people home?" I asked.

She nods. "Just my dad. But he's in Paul's room. And our moms are doing last minute shopping." She smiled, kissing me. I kiss back.

Then I pull my shirt off and unbotton my pants. I start pulling them down, and step out of them the rest of the way.

Then she walks me backwards to the bed. I lean up against it and she sits me down. Then she straddles me with both legs, kissing me everywhere.

This time I brought protection just in case. Then we had sex for the second time since we've met each other. "I love you," Nina whispered in my ear.

"I love you, too," I said. Kissing her lips and then down the side of her neck and back up again. Being with Nina was so perfect. It was the first time and it was this time.

----
I was sitting on Nina's bed with her on my lap. "We should probably get all the way dressed," I said, because we were only in our underwear. Then I picked up my phone to see that it was 6 'o' clock.

"What time is it?" She asked, tilting her head backwards and looking up to me.

"Six," I said. Then she sat up. So did I. She pulled the covers off of us and stood up next to her bed. She picked up her brown, flat, ruffled layer dress and stepped inside.

Then she pulled it all the way up to under her arms and zipped it up on the side. The dress was shape-fitting and showed the small curves she had in her body. Nina was very skinny, but she didn't it a lot after her chemo first started when she was eight. So she stayed skinny.

Then after being lazy, I finally got up. I slipped on my blue jeans and put my button-up brown shirt on. Then she unlocked her door and we walked downstairs. Our moms were back.

And both of our dads were down there too. Paul or Angie weren't there. "Where's Angela?" I asked.
"And Paul?" Nina asked.

"I told them to go to the park down the street, while we set up dinner," Joan said.

"We actually need to talk to you," Mr. P said. Then he points to the couch. Nina and I both sit down.

"We know, or at least we think that we know, that you to are, as modern people say, 'hooking up'," my mom said using quotes around the words hooking up.
