𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝘄𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿. Although really they were cells they never admitted that to eachother.
"Why did it choose us?" The girl asked.
"I don't know Wanda. But we're lucky." The boy replied. "All the other people that came into contact with that...that thing...they all died."
The girl, also known as Wanda, nodded. "Do...do you think we shouldn't have volunteered, Pietro?" She asked hesitantly.
The boy, Pietro, hesitated. "I do not know, sister."
Footsteps sounded down the corridor and they immediately went quiet and sat straight. A large guard, built thickly, approached their cells.
"Time for power training." He pulled out two keys and let the twins step out. They immediately got closer, holding onto each other's arms in slight fear.
They exchanged a glance and a nod before following the guard. Maybe they shouldn't have volunteered.
