Song - Just like the water by Ms. Lauryn Hill

I woke up at 7am, naturally. I was really worried about getting a shit sleep because of how excited I was so I went to bed at like 9pm and woke up on Lois' couch awake and refreshed.

Lois made french toast for breakfast along with strawberry smoothies for us both.
"I can't believe you're getting married today." She said.
"I know it's crazy. I can't wait though."
I replied.

"I can't wait for the cake. If it truly is the best thing you've ever tasted." Lois laughed.
"Ugh I never thought of chocolate raspberry, I didn't even know it was a thing but holy fuck it's awesome."

...

Around 11 it was time to get dressed. Lois done my make up, simple brown eyeshadow, mascara, red lipstick and light blusher.
"Aw you look gorgeous." She said.
"Really? Not too simple?"
"Nonono, perfect."

She also managed to, god knows how, tame my waves into a low bun that look both classy and elegant.

Once we were both ready Kerr met us outside with his beaten up old car that today had a pink ribbon on the roof. I hugged him and thanked him for the effort.

...

"Okay Kerr is gonna go into first then I'll lead you down." Lois smiled.
"Oh my god this is actually happening."
"It's okay it's okay. Deep breaths."
I took five deep breaths.
"Remember," she said "you love Timothée."
"I do." I breathed
"It's all gonna be okay, you're alright. You got your vows?"

I reached in my pocket and showed her the little folded paper.
"Good. We're all set. You ready?"
"Yes."

She hooked my arm and the doors opened revealing a relatively short isle our friends and his family on each side. There was a pianist who burst into 'here comes the bride' and I felt very overwhelmed but when I saw him it all went away.

He was wearing a white suit with a black tie that fit him well and his curls were only yelled back slightly. He smiled so brightly when he saw me.

I walked up slowly and Lois let go of my arm. He lifted back my veil.

...

From Timothée's pocket he pulled out a small square piece of paper, cleared his throat and spoke.
"Y/n, I love you so much. From head to toe. I don't know how I got so lucky to bump into you at Tucci's. You make me feel better than I ever thought I could and I wanna spend the rest of my life making you feel the same way."

His words washed over me like warm, soothing water. His voice broke with emotion accentuating the sincerity of his words.

He tucked the paper away, smiling and bearing a single tear on his right cheek.

When I was my turn I was desperate not to cry, I really didn't want to have mascara running down my face in wedding pictures. But alas a few tears escaped.

After that we said our 'I do's' surely and proudly before finally;
"You may kiss the bride."
We shared a brief but passionate kiss that made people in the seats woo and clap.

We walked hand in hand to along the isle and into Kerr's car on our way to the reception. Timmy kissed me deeply only breaking away to say; "I'm so happy."
We didn't even put on our seatbelts, it would get in the way of our vigorous kissing. His hands were glued to my hips.

"Uh guys we're almost there. If you wanna fix your hair y/n." Kerr laughed from the drivers seat.
I giggled pushing a reluctant Timmy off me.

I adjusted my bun and wiped my smudged lipstick with my hand. He smiled watching me.
"Oh," I laughed "You got some lipstick on your mouth."
I swiped his lips a few times with my thumb getting red.
"Okay we're here." Announced Kerr.

...

Several little tables were set up in the place with a pink tulip in a clear glass bottle on pristine white tablecloths.
Me and Timmy sat at the middle of a longer table. Each side of us his best man, Mike, and my maid of honour, Lois.

Plates of dinner were served and Lois clinked her glass with her fork.
"I'd like to do a toast." She said and everyone turned their attention to her.
"Y/n is my best friend and I've known her for a good few years so I think I'm qualified to say; I've never seen you so happy than you are with Timothée."

We both smiled up at her. "I really truly believe you'll be together forever. And I wish you a long and happy life. To Timmy and y/n!" She held up her glass and people repeated her clinking their own glasses.
