Lucifer was taking Trixie to a theme park of all things. Chloe was to meet them in an hour, but for now, he was alone with the little urchin on the way to the pier. All through the ride Trixie had seemed nervous and on edge. Lucifer chalked it up to a fear of roller coasters or something trivial like that. All of a sudden, Trixie spoke up.
"Lucifer, if I like girls will I go to Hell?" Lucifer looked over at her,
"No matter what you do, you will not go to Hell. Ever." Trixie bit her lip,
"But, since I'm a girl, would it be a bad thing if I liked girls?" Trixie watched as his eyebrows knit together,
"Why would that be a bad thing?" The little girl shrugged,
"Would you still be my friend if I liked girls." Lucifer pulled into the parking lot and parked his car,
"Of course, what is this about, child?"
"Well, there's this girl at my school, Kenzie, and I really want her to be my girlfriend but my friend Landa says that is bad she she won't be my friend if I have a girlfriend." Lucifer didn't really know what to do, except to threaten this Landa, but that didn't seem particularly helpful.
"I think that if you want a girlfriend, you should have one. I don't understand why this human thinks it effects her in the least."
"So, wanting a girlfriend isn't bad?" Lucifer smiled at her,
"Of course not. Your mother is my girlfriend and that's probably the best thing that's ever happened, why should you and this Kenzie be any different?" Trixie still looked worried,
"Well you're a boy and mommy's a girl. I'm a girl and Kenzie's a girl."
"Ah, so you think it might be wrong because you're the same gender?" Trixie nodded.
"Right, well I've been with men, women, people who are both, and people who are neither. Do you think that's bad?" The little girl shook her head,
"So, why is it bad for you then?" Trixie considered this,
"It's not." Lucifer smiled triumphantly and she smiled back.
"Exactly. Now, I believe we have a roller coaster to go on." Trixie squealed and got out of the car. Lucifer didn't flinch away when she took his hand this time and they went into the theme park.

A few days later, Trixie asked Kenzie on a date. She came rushing into the house, but she only saw her mom.
"Mommy, is Lucifer here?" Chloe shook her head,
"No baby, he's at his penthouse. Why?" Trixie could barely contain her excitement,
"I've gotta tell him something," Chloe was still confused, but she just nodded.
"Okay, well he's coming over for dinner and movies. Can it wait until then?" Trixie shook her head,
"No, I have to tell him now. Can we go see him?" The child looked so excited her mother couldn't say no.
"I'll call him and check, okay? You go put your backpack away." Trixie nodded happily and skipped off to her room. Chloe dialed Lucifer's number. He said he would go to their place so the child could tell him whatever was she needed to, but Chloe decided a movie night at Lucifer's would work just as well, plus he had a better TV.
When they finally pulled up to LUX, Trixie practically ran ahead of her mother, through the backdoor that was only for them, and into the elevator. They rode up, Trixie basically jumping off the walls and when they got in, Trixie ran straight to Lucifer, hugging his waist briefly.
"Lucifer! I have to tell you something!"
"All right child, spit it out." Trixie looked at her mom then back at Lucifer,
"In private." She demanded. Lucifer smirked at her,
"Okay, where would you like to go." Trixie bit her lip,
"Umm, the balcony!" Lucifer sighed,
"Fine, I'll meet you out there." Trixie ran off and Lucifer gave Chloe a soft kiss. She gave him a look as if to ask what Trixie was on about but he only shrugged and went out onto the balcony where Trixie was waiting.
"Okay, remember when you told me if I wanted Kenzie to be my girlfriend, I should just ask her?" Lucifer nodded, smirking, "Well, I asked her on a date and she said yes!"
"Does that make you happy?" Trixie nodded furiously,
"Then I'm glad." Trixie hugged him again.
"Can I have her over here tomorrow for our date?" Lucifer looked overly concerned, he didn't really know how it worked when eight year olds wen ton dates, or if they were aloud to go on dates.
"You should talk to your mother, I don't really know the protocol for small humans going on dates in my nightclub." Trixie smiled,
"Okay. Is mommy gonna hate me like Landa?" Lucifer scoffed,
"Your mother could never hate you, child. Also, this Landa person, would you like me to take care of her? I am the devil after all and no one is allowed to be...mean to those I care about." Trixie shrugged,
"That's okay. I'll tell Maze about her." Lucifer laughed,
"Alright then. She'll definitely take care of that insufferable idiot." Trixie smiled and grabbed his hand, dragging him back inside.
"Mommy?" she asked as soon as they were in view,
"Can my girlfriend and I have a date here tomorrow?" Chloe looked at Trixie, stunned, and then at Lucifer who was smiling sheepishly.
"Girlfriend? Is that what you wanted to tell Lucifer?"
"Yeah," Trixie said impatiently, "can we have a date here?"
"Sweetie, I don't think a nightclub is the best place for that. What if I take you guys to a restaurant or something." Trixie smiled,
"Okay. Can Lucifer come too? I want him to meet her." Chloe looked at Lucifer, letting him answer,
"Fine."
"YAY!" Trixie shouted and hugged him and then her mom.
"I'm gonna go call her." The child ran off.
Chloe looked at Lucifer in disbelief,
"Did you know she was, I mean, that she wanted a girlfriend?" Lucifer nodded,
"Why? How?" Lucifer shrugged,
"I'm not sure exactly. She asked me if she would go to Hell if she had a girlfriend and eventually she was telling me she wanted some child to be her girlfriend. I told her to do what makes her happy and it appears she has." He smiled triumphantly. Chloe was just staring at him,
"and you didn't think to tell me?"
"I didn't think it mattered, Detective. So what if your child has a crush?" Chloe shook her head,
"I don't care if she has a crush, I care that she thought she'd go to Hell because it was on a girl. Please tell me you told her no."
"Of course I told her she's not going to Hell. I even threatened the insufferable brat that told her she was, but the little urchin decided to just tell Maze. That should take of it." Chloe laughed,
"Don't let Maze murder a child."
"Please, I don't let Maze do anything. I doubt she'd a kill a child though, probably just scare it straight, or gay in this case." Chloe laughed again.
"Another perk of having the devil and a demon on your side."
A/N So, I know this is basically just dialogue and has almost no storyline plus isn't interesting but I'm LGBT and my parents were boing homophobic, which lead to me crying in frustration then writing to make myself feel better and this is what happened. Anyway, have a good day. Stay hydrated. <3
