We finally arrived at a crappy-looking motel called the "Glen Capri Motel." Everyone piled off the bus with their things as Coach made his way to the front of the crowd.

"Listen up! The meet's been pushed 'til tomorrow. This is the closest motel with the most vacancies and the least amount of good judgement when it comes to accepting a bunch of degenerates like yourselves. You'll be pairing up- choose wisely. And since there is an odd number, I have decided that the most responsible person out of all of us gets their own bedroom, understand?" Surprisingly, he handed me a key to a room. "I trust you to make good choices, " he told me with a wink while everyone else grabbed their keys. I went straight to my room, not wanting to talk to anyone. But as I was unpacking my things, a knock came to my door. I reluctantly opened it to find Stiles, holding a KitKat out to me.

"What's this?" I asked.

"A peace offering," he replied. I slowly took it from him. "Why were you crying?"

"What? How did you-"

"Your makeup's slightly smeared."

Sometimes, I can't believe how observant Stiles was. "I'm fine."

"Is it Derek?"

I nodded slowly.

"I'm...so sorry...for what happened. But I think all is not lost quite yet."

"How can you have so much hope after what happened?" I questioned quietly.

"Because...I learned that from you," he replied, shocking me. I stared into his eyes and knew he was telling the truth. "I now realize you have so much hope. In everyone around you, in...us. And I blew it. I lied to you, about something so stupid.... I'm just a stupid teenager making stupid choices that hurt you. And I guess what I'm trying to say is...I am truly sorry."

I sighed. It was a pretty good apology. "I'll except your apology if you prove to me...in some way...that I can trust you again," I told him before closing the door. I heard him linger outside for a moment before leaving. I set the KitKat aside, not really in the mood.

I decided to work on the homework I missed for this meet. It didn't take me too long, which was nice. Once I was done, I took a long, hot shower, calming my nerves and anxiety. I changed into my pajamas and french braided my hair before walking out of the bathroom, toothbrush in my mouth. I set aside my dirty clothes and was about to jump onto my bed when I gasped, dropping my toothbrush. Scattered across my room were the bodies of my family, covered in blood. It looked so real.

"No, no, no, no. This is just a dream," I said, my voice shaky. I closed my eyes and shook my head. "This is not real, it's just a dream. Just a dream." I pinched myself for good measure before slowly opening my eyes. Instead of my family, I saw all of my friends covered in blood. Stiles, Scott, Isaac, Derek, Lydia and Allison. Large scratches raked across their chests, eyes open in fear. I looked down at my hands to find them covered in blood and I panicked.

"That's right, Melody," a familiar voice whispered. "It was you...it was us..."

I looked up to see the voice coming from...me. We looked exactly the same, except her mouth was dripping with blood and her eyes shined insanity. She took a step toward me and I stepped back.

"We did this," the other me hissed. "We discovered how powerful we could be because...we...are Luna Wolves."

"But we protect the supernatural and humans, not murder them," I argued fearfully.

"But they were getting in our way, preventing us to evolve, to become the most powerful being the world!" She grinned psychotically. "We must reach our full potential, and they were a small price to pay to achieve greatness."
