The police showed up at the substation right after Kira absorbed the electricity. And unfortunately for us, we were taken in for questioning... by Mr. McCall...

"So, when did you get there?"

"At the same time," Stiles replied.

"At the same time as me," Scott answered.

"By coincidence?"

"What do you mean, 'by coincidence?" Stiles asked.

"That's what I'm asking you. The two of you arrived at the same time- was that a coincidence?"

"Are you asking me?" Scott inquired.

"I think he's asking me," Stiles said.

I rolled my eyes.

"I think he's asking the both of you," Lydia stated sarcastically.

Mr. McCall was suddenly frustrated. "Okay. Let me answer the questions." He paused, realizing his mistake and I smirked. "Let me ask the questions." He turned to me. "Where were you when you got kidnapped?"

"Well, I left one of my binders in the chemistry room so I went to go get it. That's when I noticed a coded message on the blackboard. Before I could escape, Barrow came out of the chemistry closet and used a rag soaked in chloroform to make me go unconscious. When I woke up, I was at the substation tied next to Kira."

"Just so I have this absolutely clear: Barrow was hiding in the chemistry closet at the school. Someone left him a coded message on the blackboard telling him to kill Kira and Melody. Then, Barrow took them to a power substation and tied them up with the intent of electrocuting them which blacked out the whole town."

"Sounds about right..." Stiles said.

"How did you know he'd take them to a power station?"

"Well, 'cause he was an electrical engineer," Stiles replied. "So, where else would he take them?"

"That's one heck of a deduction, Stiles."

"Yeah, what can I say? I take after my pops- he's in law enforcement."

Sheriff Stilinski coughed. "Stiles, just, uh... just answer the man."

Stiles sighed. "We made a good guess."

"What were the two of you doing?" Mr. McCall asked Scott and Kira.

"Eating pizza," Scott responded.

"Eating sushi," Kira said.

They both looked at each other.

"...eating sushi."

"...eating pizza."

They sighed before saying simultaneously," Eating sushi and pizza." Not suspicious at all.

Mr. McCall scoffed, turning to Sheriff Stilinksi. "You believe this?"

"To be honest, I haven't believed a word Stiles has said since he learned how to speak. But, I think these kids found themselves in the right place at the right time, and those girls sitting there are very lucky for it."

"Kira, Melody, is that how you remember it?"

I nodded.

"Yes," Kira said. "Could I get my phone back now?"

I retrieved mine before the police showed up, hidden in my back pocket.

"Sorry, but no. A deputy is going to take the two of you home, but we need you to fill out some paperwork first."
