I stayed the night with Deaton and Scott, making sure Scott was going to be okay. While Scott was out on the table, I fell asleep curled in a chair I pulled up next to him, my hand in his. When he woke up, I woke up as he sat up on the table.

"Welcome to the land of the conscious. You doing okay?" Deaton asked.

Scott didn't reply. I stood up and hopped up onto the table next to him.

"Maybe you should sit down for a bit, huh?"

Just then, the ring of a bell sounded, alerting us there was someone here. Deaton left us to go see who it was. Someone at this hour? We were technically closed.

"Hello?"

"Hi there. I'm here to pick up," said a familiar voice.

It was Peter Hale. Scott quickly jumped off the table, dragging me off and we quietly hid in the corner of the room. He wrapped his arms around me protectively as we carefully listened to the conversation next door.

"I'm not sure I remember you dropping off," Deaton replied suspiciously.

"This one wandered in on its own." Peter was after Scott. Now that he was fully healed, he was hunting him down.

"Even if he did, I'm afraid we can't help you. We're closed."

"Well, I think you can make an exception this one time, don't you?" Peter inquired.

"I'm sorry. That's not going to be possible. Maybe you could come back during regular hours?"

"You have something of mine. I'm here to collect it," Peter demanded.

"Like I said- we're closed," Deaton said firmly.

There was a pause.

"Mountain ash. That's an old one."

We heard something crash. I flinched, but Scott hugged me comfortingly.

"Let me be as clear as possible: We. Are. Closed."

Peter was about to leave when we heard him mutter, "There are others who can help me get what I want, Scott... More innocent and far more vulnerable."

We turned to each other as he left. "Allison."

After Deaton told us it was safe to go, we went our seperate ways, trying to formulate a plan. I went home, taking a nice, long, hot shower before changing into some clean clothes. Then, I walked down to the Hale house, looking for Derek to see if he was okay. I quietly entered the house.

"Hello? Is anybody home?"

There was no reply. I seached the entire house, but there was no sign of life. Maybe Derek was back in hiding. I just hoped he was okay. I was about to leave when I heard boards creak behind me. I twirled around, intercepting an arm. I stared up at a blonde woman, probably in her late twenties. She smiled at me curiously.

"Hm. Quick reflexes," she observed.

She tried kicking me, but I managed to twist around her, wrapping her arm around herself before flipping her onto her bakc. She chuckled.

"You're pretty strong...for a teenager. You remind me of my niece, Allison."

That caught me off guard as she kicked at my legs and I fell to the floor. Before I could get up, the woman held an electrifying rod in front of my face.

"Let's see what you know."

She jabbed me in the stomach, electricity spreading across my body. I screamed in pain before immediately passing out. When I woke up, I was all groggy, discovering I was hanging up by my hands, my t-shirt stripped off so I was only in a white tank top. I groaned as light was shined in my face.
