An hour before

The alarm clock ranged and woken up my sleeping soul. It's another exhausting day to face. I spaced out while looking at the ceiling, not planning to get up.

I heard Jaster and Yuna outside screaming at each other. I smiled and shook my head. I decided to get up and took a shower.

After, I did my make up and other things I do in preparation for this day. I looked at the mirror and smile into satisfaction. In time, I heard Jaster called me from the outside.

"Y/n, I cooked breakfast. Get your ass off you room or I'll kick you out myself. You go move faster we're going late!" I chuckled as I heard Yuna screamed back at him. "Yah, you don't have to scream, it hurts my ears!"

I didn't bother to answer back, instead, I got out of the room and saw the two started eating at the dining table.

"Eyy. Where's your attitude? Eating without me?" I said mockingly. Both of them rolled their eyes and Yuna threw a table napkin to me that made us three laugh. I luckily catched the cloth and sat down at the dining table.

Few minutes gad passed, we finished eating and left for work. 30 minutes left and we'll be late.

As usual, even if we're late, we still walked our way to school. But just a few steps away from the apartment. I was looking for my phone and remembered I left it charging on my room.

"Yah! I need to go back. I left my phone. You can go first. I'll catch up." I said then turn my back to them.

"Make it fast!" Yuna yelled. I just wave my hand in response.

I ran towards our apartment and walked inside my room. After I got my phone, I rushed outside and ran to catch up with the two.

I saw them waiting for me across the street. When the traffic light turned red, I got my chance to cross the street together with other people, who like us, trying to defeat time. But at the middle of the crosswalk, I stopped when I saw an old lady having a hard time crossing the street. The drivers are started to blow their horns and screaming at the poor woman. The old lady out of embarrassment, trying to be fast as she can, giving them slight bow saying sorry.

"Come on! We're going late!" I didn't knew I stopped at my track, and get startled when Yuna hold my wrist and pulled me.

"Wait. I'll just help the old lady" I said and pulled of my hands into her hold and ran towards the woman.

"What?! Are you nuts? Yah Y/n!" I heard her scream together with frustrated Jaster.

I ignored them and ran towards the her. I held her hand and helped her cross the street, while bowing apollogetically to the car drivers.

"Aihoo, thank you so much." She said with a bright smile.

"You're welcome ma'am. Please be careful and take care. I need to go now." I smiled and bow to her.

"I hope you'll find your happiness soon, and always remember, don't let things ruin it, or you'll suffer." She said and walked away. I tilted my head in confusion. But got out of my thoughts when Yuna and Jaster called my name again. I ran towards them, while my thoughts are still confused by the woman's odd statement.

"Okay Ms. Superwoman let's go." Jaster said rolling his eyes.

"Shut up." I answered and tried to clear my thoughts off.
