Stassis POV
"What do you know about him?" Derek said. Once again I've said to much.
I had let my emotions get the best of me in there.
But I refused to let Deucalion manipulate the situation to make himself seem like this power. Like this force to be reckoned with.
When it was never his to begin with.
"I may only be 18 but Wanheada has lived a 1,000 times before." I said adverting from what I inevitably had to tell.

And I saw Stiles. And it made me realize that I had missed him more than I thought.
I was doing what I was taught to do.
How to control it. How to use it. How to win.
My absence was abrupt and came without warning.
And I knew it hurt, to wonder.
But I hope he realizes that all I've done, all that I do, all that I will continue to do is to keep him safe.
It's to ensure that when the sun rises the next morning it creeps into his bedroom windows and kisses his skin waking him up.

So any chance that I get to make the chances of that happening every morning increase, I'll take it.
And I'm sorry that this was how I had to come back.
But he was there and they were getting their asses kicked.
I had to help.

"He was a true alpha, a true shapeshifter, and he was Deucalions biggest inspiration . They both believed in the same thing. Peace. And making peace with the hunters to be able to live together in harmony." I said recalling everything to the best of my ability. It was all so traumatic that my mind tried to erase it. I hated to think about it.

"How do you play into this?" Derek asked. I know that he was eager to understand. After all, this was his father I was talking about.
"I was an overseer." I said. "I had been back in New York but S.H.E.I.L.D was getting wind of a small town in California called Beacon Hills and supernatural incidents that their people would take care of."

"Lyle Hale came to me directly. He knew me the way you did Derek. Prophecy and everything. But it had nothing to do with Wanheada could do, but what I could do. He promised peace but he needed a little more time. So, I got S.H.E.I.L.D off their case and gave Lyle the time he asked for."

They all stood in a zigzag pattern in front
of me and my hands were shaking from adrenaline.

"Some time had passed and I was in my lab room in Stark Tower and I could over hear Director Fury say, 'send the girl' meaning me. To here. To take care of what I told them would take care of itself.
I landed in California and a black car took me to your house." I said pointing to Derek. I didn't know of him at the time, he was still in high school.
"I was sent there as a representative of S.H.E.I.L.D and as a mediator of human and the supernatural. This was the day that Gerard Argent stabbed Deucalion in the eyes with silver arrows, leaving him blind."

Allison sucked her breath in and clenched her jaw. I'm assuming he had told her something different.
"When Lyle refused to speak with Gerard and mend forces and create the peace, Deucalion was infuriated. He had felt betrayed by Lyle, like the efforts he made were for nothing. But Deucalion didn't acknowledge that Lyle wouldn't talk to Gerard because Lyle was ready for a higher form of war."
It was starting to come back to me and in the back of my head I could hear them making plans of attack.

"Lyle didn't betray Deucalion, he was ready to go against his beliefs and all he worked for in Deucalions honor. But Deucalion didn't see that. So the night of the full moon, I was getting ready to head back to New York Director Fury had ordered me to get back since I didn't know how to control this. Lyle had arranged for me to leave and after discussing details with him he had thanked me for my service to him."

"I remember existing the front door and Deucalion was standing in the front of the house. 'Brother..' Lyle said to him." I wasn't looking at anyone, it was playing in my head as if I were there again. Oh how I would do things differently if I was who I am now. "Your mother was there." I said remembering her as a pretty woman with dark hair and respect. "Lyle had went down the steps speaking to Deucalion but I couldn't hear him clearly because Talia had told me not to worry. And for a moment I believed her. Until I heard the sound of claws being bared. 'Get the child!' Talia said and she pushed me back into the house. Members of Deucalions pack came from out of the woods." Oh God. I remember it so clearly.
