Stassis POV
I was anxious all through out French. I wish I hadn't opened my big mouth to Stiles about the Expo. Wait.. I thought to myself.

There is no way in hell I'm going to let Luke ruin this for me. I'll just have security doubled up, he'll never make it a block away.

This Expo brings millions of dollars to Stark Industries. And he could never come in between my dad and his checks. So maybe if I fill my dad in on it he'll make sure that Luke won't get in. But then again, my dad doesn't know the whole story. I never had the heart to tell him.
I was scared that he'd be disappointed I stayed so long. That I was weak for that.

Only my brothers and Kylie know the true true story about me and Luke. I just wanted to keep it that way because I couldn't have anything leaked to press about it. A part of me wanted to tell Stiles, but in a sense, I did this to myself. I ruined me. It just hurts. After all this time, it still hurts. Sometimes suffering is just suffering. It doesn't build charcater. It doesn't make you stronger. It just hurts.

Class ended and I realized that I wrote none of my vocabulary down and I just mentally cussed myself out.
Charlie had his stuff packed and he seemed in a bit of a hurry.
"Gotta get to biology tutoring. Can't be late or she'll lock me out of the class." He said as he slung his backpack over his shoulder.
"I'll see ya later Stass." He said running for the door.

I shoved my things in my bag and exited as well when I turned the corner and rammed into someone.
"Stiles! You scared the hell outta me!" I said running into him.
"Oops. My bad.." He said chuckling. "Come on. We gotta stop at the boys locker room."
Ew. Even walking by that place it like seeps nasty. You can smell it from a mile away.

I had to walk pretty quickly to keep up with Stiles since his longs were so much longer than mine and he was walking quick to begin with.
"Hey! Slow down a bit!" I said teasing. "You late or something?"
"Uh I no." He said stopping and letting me catch up.
"Just Jackson always kind of creeps around so I wanted to beat him to the locker room and be ready before he has time to you know, creep. Sorry, I didn't realize I was going so fast." He said laughing nervously.
"No no it's alright. Jackson is kind of creep. Very into himself."
"Yeah he's also a huge asshole." He said making me laugh.

We got to the locker rooms and Stiles kind of placed me with my back to the wall and stood in front of me.
"I'm just gonna-" He said zipping the hoodie all the way up to by my neck. I laughed at his jealousy and he patted me on the shoulders.
"I will literally be right back."
"Yeah please. The smell is already getting to me." I said as Danny opened the door to the locker room.

Stiles ran inside and I waited for only a little bit until I felt a presence over me.
"Stark.." Jackson said. "Waiting for me?" He asked cockily. I stifled a laugh at his arrogance.
"No. I'm waiting for Stiles."
"Stiles?" He said forcing out a sarcastic laugh.
"Yeah. I'm going to his house after to work on the group project." I replied not making eye contact.
"Ah. It's not cool what he's doing to you Stark." Jackson said leaning up against the wall next to me. I shifted away from him as he leaned closer.
"He's using you. Can't you see that? The reaction he got outta Lydia this morning... He gets off to the kind of stuff."

I rolled my eyes. I didn't believe him for a second. And I was pretty good at assuming the worse, and what Jackson was saying just didn't sit right with me.
"Mm." I said. "We're just working on the group project."
"Besides.." Jackson said getting closer and closer, to the point where his lips brushed my hair. "he wouldn't know what to do with a girl like you." He whispered in my ear.

Something happened. It happened. Again. And I snapped. I swatted his hand away from me and held him by his neck against the wall. He squirmed and grunted. Then his eyes locked with mine and he was full of horror.
"Touch me again and I'll break your fucking hand off." I said in a low and harsh tone, it almost didn't sound like my voice.
"What's going on?" Stiles said from behind. I dropped Jackson and backed away from him. "Your girls crazy." Jackson said walking past him and into the locker room.

Stiles looked confused at me.
"Are you okay? Did he touch you?" He said examining me.
"Yeah, no I'm fine. He just was being you know, creepy." I said. "He was running his mouth, saying some dumb shit."
"Had to go Brooklyn on his ass." Stiles said smiling.
"Oh he wouldn't survive Brooklyn!" I said as Stiles and I walked to the lacrosse field.

Stiles hand kind of twitched and his fingers danced. My arms were crossed across my chest as I walked besides him and his arm kind of raised a bit but then went back down.
"So what is lacrosse? How do you even play?" I asked.
He looked at me like I had two heads. "I'm from New York! We like hockey and basketball. I never even heard of lacrosse until I got here."
"Alright so it's kind of like hockey, but on a field and you have to cradle the ball.." He said demonstrating with his stick. Like a swinging back and forth motion.
"So can you check?" I asked.
"Just the sticks mainly, not like body checks."
"Ahh I see."
"Yeah.." He said smiling looking at me sideways.

His arm did the thing again but I pretend not to notice. He wiped his hand on his shorts and kind of mumbled to himself.
"You good?" I asked nudging into him.
"Yeah no I just.. I uh.." He sloppily slung his arm around my shoulders and little harder than I think he anticipated because he nearly knocked me over and he also nearly knocked himself over.
"Whoop uh my bad." He said as we regained balance.
"All good." I said feeling giddy and nervous.

We walked in a kind of comfortable silence with his lanky arm slung around me and pulling me closer every once in a while.
It was cool autumn day and it reminded me of New York. Minus all the yelling, traffic, bad smells, and crackheads roaming around. I guess not New York but New England. Like Connecticut.
Leaves were on the ground and the air was crisp but the sun still felt warm.

"You can sit here." Stiles said unwrapping his arm from me. I felt colder as he released me. I sat down on the cold metal bench as the other players began to flood the field. Stiles stumbled with his gear trying to figure out what goes where when Scott and Will came into view. Will sat next me as Scott easily put his gear on while Stiles still struggled.
"Here.." I said taking his glove from him and shoved it in his hand strapping it on.

"Nice work Stilinski.." the Coach said walking by. "Now how you gonna get your helmet on?" He hit him on the head with his clipboard and Scott laughed all geared up.
I picked up his helmet and shifting it on his head. He opened his mouth up and I looked at him weird.
"My mouth guard." He said opening up again. I stuck my fingers into his helmet where his mouth guard hung attached. I slid it into his mouth and I wiped his spit off my finger on my jeans.
"Sorry. Thanks!" He said walking backwards to the filed.
"I'm gonna score a goal for ya!" He said joking and joining Scott.

Oh boy. I thought to myself. I took my seat back next to Will and practice began. I kind of was watching to understand the game when I felt wind brush past me.
"Hey girly!" Lydia said from behind me. I just ignored her and just watched.
Will kind of explained to me what was going on as they shot at Danny.
"Wahoo! Way to go Jackson!" Lydia said from behind us as he scored.

Stiles was up next and it was a very quick and easy save for Danny and Stiles just went back to the end of the line.

"Hey.." I said tapping Will on the leg. "who is that?" I asked pointing to a guy in all black with a leather jacket on staring right at me from across the field.
