Reassurance.

chapter six.

"ZARA!" I heard Luca shouting me. "Jess is here."

I jumped up from my dressing table and ran down the stairs bouncing into the kitchen. I ran up to Jess who was chatting away to Luca and gave her a big hug! She was sick on the last few days of college so I hadn't seen her and I missed her.

"I missed you bitch!" I said and she giggled.

"Missed you too Zee. So what are we doing tonight?"

"Me and the boys are watching a film in the cinema room if you want to join?" Luca spoke up.

"Depends what film and we're in!" I said

"Ted? you know that new release comedy about the grown man with the best friend teddy who  parties like a human."

"Yeah I know the one. Okay sounds good just hold it while Jess puts her stuff in my room we'll be down soon."

Luca nodded and dissapeared down the corridor in the opposite direction. We reached my room and Jessica dropped her bags down at the foot of my bed.

"I'm so excited! God Zee you have no idea how much I love your brothers hot friends."

"I think I do Jess." I giggled.

"Give me a minute." she dissapeared into my walk in closet and emerged a few minutes later in a pair of trackies and a long sleeved top like mine.

We left my room and went into the cinema room. I was grateful for my parents hard work and all that they did to provide me and my brothers with this wonderful house despite that I never got to see them. I was priveledged. The cinema room had a large cinema screen at the front with an isle down the middle seperating 4 rows each with 5 chairs.

Along the second row on the right was Luca, Ed, Mason and Adam. On the second row on the left was Alex and then Jamie. Jess and I snuck in and I sat down which happened to be in a chair next to Jamie while Jess ran off towards the last free chair on the other side.

I sank down into the plush seat and sat back to watch the movie as it started. I was enjoying it when I felt something touch my leg. My breath caught in my throat and I froze.
