Jamie made his way closer and slowly sat at the end of my bed.
"Did I do something?" He asked me but I didn't answer. He looked down at his hands and then continued. "I didnt mean to shock you. Your just beautiful. I understand that touching your leg was a bit too far but I wanted to get to know you."
"Look, Jamie. Its fine just forget about it. I can't explain to you why it shocked me but you just have to move on. If you want to get to know me we need to talk and get to know each other slowly."
"I understand. Im sorry, again... Are you coming back to the movie?"
"No, Luca and Adam can't know anything. If they ask just say I felt sick, please. Tell Jess she can go with you if she wants, i dont mind.
He nodded and walked out as I sank down under my duvet and pulled it closer to me.
I woke the next morning to Jess next to me. I got up slowly and let her sleep knowing she would have had a late night if she stayed up with the boys. I went downstairs to get breakfast, still in my pyjamas.
"Hey bro." I said walking into the kitchen. "where's Adam?" I asked.
"Bed, worked the late shift last night remembet?" I nodded back at him remembering Adam had a late shift. He 's a security guard and often gets the night shifts.
"Bacon sandwich Zee?"
"Yes please. Sorry about last night I felt sick but I'm okay today." I thought it was a better idea to tell him first before he had a chance to ask me a million questions. "Was the rest of the film good?"
"Yeah it was. Shame you missed it but a least you feel better today." He slid a plate across the breakfast bar with my bacon sandwich on it and then went to fridge and threw me a bottle of ice tea.
When I finished my breakfast I made my way into the lounge to find Jamie in there. He must have stayed the night here. I decided it would be easier if I started the conversation.
