A month later and Jamie and I were settled at home with our beautiful baby daughter. We were both loving life together and we were also engaged.

Jamie had proposed to me at a meal one night when my parents had visited to congratulate us and help with the baby. We had also put a deposit down on a house that we had been saving up for.

It was a small house, three bedrooms, but it didnt bother us. It was in a nice location and offered a safe growing up environment for Penelope. It had modern decor and my parents had helped out to furnish it. We moved in next week and I couldnt wait.

Jamie and my brothers had spent a weekend decorating Penelopes nursery. It had soft pink walls with cream carpet. There was a cot at the far end of the room, against the wall, with yellow bedding in it and a few blankets and teddies. Next to the bed was a big comfy chair and a small bookself next to it with baby books on it and small ornaments. The top shelf was scattered with photos of Penelope when she was first born and then weeks later with Jamie, Penelope and I together. The other far end of the room was a single chest of drawers full of her baby clothes and little outfits, a nightlight resting on the top of it.

I couldnt thank the boys enough, the nursery was beautfiul and I loved it.

We had settled down well and I was sure to settle down perfectly in our new home together.
