Surprise

"We need to get this shit together." Calum says, rushing around his apartment.

"Calum. Calm the fuck down!" Luke yells from the bathroom. 

"If you'd hurry your ass up and not hide in the bathroom while Kayla and I are decorating, we would probably have this finished by the time they get here." Calum yells. 

"I screw everything up." Luke yells. "I'll do something wrong and you'll bitch at me."

"I promise I won't! Just please come out here and help." Calum says, setting out some plates. 

"Do you want me to just scatter these on the floor?" I ask, after blowing up, I don't know how many balloons.

"Yeah. You can tape some on the counter too." Calum says, pointing to the counter, "Where's Lydia with the damn cake?" 

As if she heard what Calum says, she walks in with the cake in one hand and holding Keegan's hand with the other. "I'm here. I'm here." I walk over and grab the cake and sit it down. Luke finally comes out from the bathroom.

"Nice for you to join us Lucas." I say, kissing him on the cheek. His cheeks turn red.

"What do I need to do." Luke asks.

"You can tape the balloons." I say, handing him the tape. 

"Yay!" Luke says, sarcastically. 

"Do you wanna help me bring out the gifts Keegan?" I ask.

"Yes!" He says, jumping up and down. 

I grab his hand and go into Calum's room. I hand him the light gifts. "Be careful with those." I tell him.

"I will." He says. I tell him to put them on the table. 

"Kayla, do you know where they are?" Calum asks me.

"Let me call Ash." I say, I walk outside and call Ashton.

"Hello." Ashton says once he answers.

"Where are you at bitch?" I ask. I see Alex pulling in. 

"We are probably about 5 minutes. What movie are we wacthing Cal?" He asks.

"Okay. Everythings ready." I say. 

"Okay. We'll be there soon." Ashton says, and hangs up.

"Hey bitch!" Alex says, walking up to the door.

"Sup slut." I say, hugging her. 

"I'm ready to party!" She says, pulling out some beer.

"Well, we have a child here, but they're only staying for a while. Then we'll drink. Just put it in the fridge." I say, walking back in. 

"Alex!" Calum shouts. He comes up to her and gives her a hug.

"They'd be cute." Luke says, coming up behind me. 

"Yeah." I say.

"To bad he is head over heels with Hanley and Hanley is head over heels with Ashton." Luke says.

"It's a good thing we're head over heels for each other." I say, turning around and kissing Luke.

"Oh." I say, breaking from the kiss. "They should be here any minute."

"IT'S HANWEY!" Keegan yells. Everyone looks out the door and we see Ashton's car pulling in. Lucky motherfucker got a car with his money. I want his car so bad. 

"Okay, when they walk in, every-" Calum says, but Luke interurpts him.

"We know what to do during surprise parties." Luke says. 

We hear the door open and Hanley is the first to walk in.

"SURPRISE!" We all yell. She looks taken back at first, but then starts crying.

"I hate you guys!" She laughs and turns around to Ashton, "You were apart of this wasn't you?"

"Yes, I was darling." He says, kissing her. "Happy late birthday Hanley!" He says, pulling away.

Luke and I look over to Calum and the color has drained from his face. Hanley pulls away from Ashton and comes and gives me a hug.

"I can't believe you guys!" She says.

"Happy birthday." I say.

"I see you and Luke are friendly." She whispers before pulling away and winking at me and going over to Luke. She whispers something in his ear. His eyes go wide and his face starts to turn red. I start to laugh.

"Just fucking with you." She says. She goes around and give everyone hugs and thanks them. 

"I can't believe you guys. I love you all!" She says, taking a drink of her pop. I look over at her hand and see a ring on her middle finger.

"Holy poo, Hanley!" I say, grabbing her hand. "Where in the world did you get this?" I say, examining the ring. It's a Pandora princess ring. 

"Ashton got it for me." She says, smiling up at him. 

"Damn Ash. Buy me one." I say.

"Me too!" Alex says, coming and looking at the ring.

"He did?!" Calum asks. He face is now red with what looks like anger. 

"Yeah, isn't pretty, Cal?" Hanley asks, reaching her hand up to Calum.

"Yeah it is." He says, clinching his hands into fist. "Hey Ash, can I talk to you for a minute?" He asks Ashton, nodding towards the door. 

"Yeah sure. I'll be right back babe." Ashton says, leaning down and kissing Hanley on the top of the head.

"Okay." She says. Something is up. Calum and Ashton walk out the door, and Calum shuts the door. I turn around and look out the window. I see them standing at the bottom of the steps. Luckly I'm the only one sitting by the window and I can kind of hear what they're saying.

"WHAT THE FUCK!" I hear Calum yell. I see them getting closer to each other.

"Hey, I think there is a present in Luke's car." I say, standing up and head towards the door. 

"Oh let me go with you." Luke says.

"No, I'll get it." I say. I open the door as quietly as possible. Once I close the door that's when Calum takes a swing at Ashton.

"HEY!" I yell. running down the stairs. I get down to the two boys. Ashton on the ground and Calum on top of him, punching him repeatedly. "CALUM STOP!" I yell and try to push Calum off of Ashton. Everyone inside must have heard me yell, cause I hear the door open.

"CALUM! ASHTON!" I hear Hanley yell. I wrap my arms around Calum and pull him off of Ashton. I may or may not have kicked him in the balls before I pulled him off. 

"OW!" He yells and falls into my arms. 

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU GUYS DOING?!" I yell. Luke comes over and helps Ashton up. 

"HE PUNCHED!" Ashton yells, holding his nose. Hanley comes over to Ashton and looks at his nose.

"What the fuck Cal? Why's you do that?!" She yells.

"BECAUSE I FUCKING LOVE YOU HANLEY!" Calum yells.

"Because I'm in love with you Hanley Nixon." He says and sits on the ground.
