Those words echoed though my head.

"You're pregnant."

I can't be.

This can't be happening right now. I feel like I'm going to pass out, so I grip the side of the bed.

"Miss Holt? Are you okay?" Doctor Johnson asked.

"You just told me I'm pregnant. Do you think I'm okay?" I snap.

"We know the father. I don't know if you're ready for that information." He says, laying a hand on my shoulder.

"Let me guess. Josh." I say. He nods his head. "Great!" I say, getting up off of the bed. "Just great! That guy that raped me. Not once, not twice, but fucking three times got me fucking pregnant! Just great!" I start to shout.

"Kayla, I know you're upset, so I'll leave you alone for a couple minutes." He says, walking towards the door and closing it behind him.

I lean against the wall. "Just great." I mutter to myself. I fell the tears running down my face. I stand there for a couple more minutes until my phone starts to go off. I pull out my phone and answer it.

"HANLEY IS AWAKE!" Ashton yells before I can even say hello.

"WHAT?!?" I yell back.

"Yeah! She's awake Kayla! She's awake!" He says. I can tell that he was crying over the phone. Doctor Johnson walks in.

"Hey Ash, I got to go. Luke and I will come see her as soon as we can." I say.

"Okay. Is everything alright?" Ashton asks.

"Yeah, just fine." I say. We say goodbye and I hang up the phone.

"So, I have some medicine for you to talk, but I really want you and your boyfriend to talk about this. Okay?" He says.

"Okay." I tell him back. He hands be a piece of paper and I walk out and head back to the house.

I decided on the way home that I'm not going to tell anyone, expect Hanley and Kaitlyn. I haven't decided on what I want to do yet, but I know I can talk about it with them. We didn't get a chance to see Hanley. Looks like I'll have to wait to tell her.

--------------------------

Today's the day of Keegan's funeral. I've become so close to that little boy and now he is gone. We met Ashton at the funeral home.

"Hey." Ashton says, hugging me. Sadly, Hanley couldn't come to the funeral, so Ashton came for her.

"Hey." I say, hugging him back. He asked the question I dreaded.

"How are you feeling?" He asked.

"Fine." Not really.

"I'm glad. Both my girls are doing alright." He says.

"Yeah." Ones just waking up from a coma like state and another is pregnant by her ex boyfriend/rapist.

We walk inside and take a seat with Calum and Alex. I've never seen Calum so upset in my life. He has his face hidden in Alex's shoulder. I sit down next to Alex and Luke next to me.

"Wow, you're getting big." I whisper to her.

"Wow thanks." Alex laughs.

"Anytime." I smile. I start to think that that will be me one day. People coming up to me telling me I'm getting big. I shake the thought out of my head.

The funeral ends with everyone in tears. Luke ended up like Calum, crying into my shoulder. We decided to ride with Ashton and head over to the hospital to visit Hanley.

"Hey." Ashton says, knocking on the door to Hanley's room. "I picked up a few people."

"Hey guys." She says weakly.

"Hey Han." Luke says, giving her a hug.

"Hey Luke." She says.

"Hey Hanley." I say, giving her a hug. "We need to get these boys out so I can tell you something." I whisper in her ear.

She looks at me and nods. "Ashton, can you go get me a water?" She asks

"Yeah, sure." He says, getting up and heading toward the door.

"Luke wanna come?" Ashton asked.

"Sure." He says, looking towards me and walking over to Ashton. Once the close the door, Hanley turns towards me.

"First, did Ashton tell Lydia I'm sorry that I couldn't come to Keegan's funeral?" She asked me, tears pooling in her eyes.

"Yeah, but you weren't well enough, they understand." I tell her.

"I know, but he was my little buddy, you know." She says, laying her head back on the pillow.

"Well, you're going to have another little buddy you can spoil." I say.

"Wait what?!?" She asked. He eyes wide with shock.

"Well, maybe." I say, looking down.

"Is it Luke's?" She asked.

"No." I say.

"Oh." She says.

"Yeah."

"Don't do it.

"Don't do what?"

"Don't get rid of it." She says.

"I don't want to." I say.

"Then don't. No matter who's it is, it's still a child and it's yours. Besides, you don't even have to tell the baby who the real father is. Luke will take care of it as its his own." She says.

"I know he will. I don't want to tell him just yet." I say.

"That's fine. Now that's made my day a little better tho." She smiles.

"Glad I got to do it." I smile.

The boys walk in and the talk of the baby was over. Now it's time to figure out how to tell Luke.
