What. The. Hell. Everyone looks over to Alex. Her eyes wide with shock.
"Wh-what?" She's just as shocked as us all.
"This is a very personal question, but was you adopted Miss. Heart?" Dr. Williams asked Alex.
"Well, yeah." Alex answers. She was adopted after her mother died. "I was adopted after my mother died, I was 2. That's what I was told."
Calum looks over at Alex, "Hanley's mom passed away when she was 3. Do you know how your mother died?" Calum asks.
"I think they said she had terminal cancer. They said my father was a bad guy after my mom died, so the neighbor took me in." Alex says, still with the confusion on her face.
"You mother was Anna Nixon, Hanley's mother. You're twins, but we really need you to come with us." Dr. Williams says. Alex follows Dr. Williams out.
"What the heck just happened?" Ashton asks.
"I'm not for sure, but my mind is blown." I say.
So we all sit in the family waiting area. Everyone playing with Keegan. For a child that has been sick, looking at him right now, you'd never gues he was sick in the first place. I look over to Calum and see him with his head in his hands. I walk over and take a seat next to Calum.
"Hey." I say softly.
Calum looks up at me, eye red and puffy. "Hi." He says, putting his head back into his hands.
"She'll be okay, Calum. She's a fighter. She'll wake up I promise." I say, rubbing his back.
"I should've never let her into the league. I knew something like this would happen. I should've talked her out of that figh." Calum sobs.
"Calum, look at me." He looks up and into my eyes.
"Don't blame yourself. That's one thing she wouldn't want you doing. If she knew you were balming yourself, she would get up and kick your ass and she would say 'Calum, shut the fuck up. I can take care of myself.'" I say, causing Calum to laugh.
"Yeah, you're right. Thanks Kayla." He says hugging me. "Luke's lucky to have to."
"What?" I ask.
"C'mon Kayla. Don't tell me you don't see how much Luke likes you. I think his in love with you." Calum says, looking over to Luke, my gaze follows his. Luke's watching us, but once he notices we are looking at him, he turns his head back to Keegan. "You like him too." Calum adds.
"Calum." I say,
"Admit it you do." Calum says, grinning wide.
"Shut up." I say, laughing and walking away from him.
Dr. Williams walks in and tells us about Hanley.
"The blood Alex's gave worked very well. Everything is improving. Hanley may just wake up sometime soon. You're aloud to go to her room if you'd like." Dr. William says.
We all walk back into Hanley's room and there she is. She looks better, has little bit of life back into her face. Calum and Ashton sits next to her bed, Luke and I sit on the floor with Keegan and Lydia went to get everyone some food.
"Wuke?" Keegan says,
"Yeah buddy?" Luke asks.
"What is your girlfwends name?" Keegan asks. My eyes look at Luke, while Luke looks at me.
"Her name is Kayla. You both your names start with a K." Luke says.
"Can we be frwend Kaywa?" Keegan asks.
"Of course we can." I say smiling.
Luke gets up and walks to Calum.
"You prweety Kaywa." Keegan says. "I wish I was Wuke." I laugh.
"I'd leave Luke for you Keegan." I say, ruffling his hair. Wait, what did I just say. Ashton must've heard the conversation, because he looks over at me and laughs.
"No, that would hwrt Wuke to much." Keegan says. Keegan looks up, over to Hanley.
"EVWRYONE! HANWEY IS WAKING UP!" Keegan yells.
We all look over to Hanley, and her eyes open.
