Something Bad

•Luke's P.O.V•

"Luke?" I hear a voice say. I know that voice. I mentally punch myself and remind myself to yell at Hanley when I get the chance. That sneaky little bitch.

I turn around and is faced with beautiful blue eyes.

"Kayla? What are you doing here? I thought you were grounded." I say.

"I'm gonna go get a drink and leave you two alone." Hanley says, smirking at Luke before she walks away.

"Told my parents that I have a project I gotta do with Hanley." She says. "What are you doing here? Cal and Hanley told me raves aren't your thing."

"Actually they are. I just talk to people here abo-" I start to say, but I don't want Kayla to know about the fight club.

"About what?" Kayla ask.

"About the music. I help DJ sometimes." I say, hoping she will buy it.

"A DJ? You, Luke Hemmings, a DJ?" She laughs. "Well, whatever you say."

"Hey, I know my music. All I do is help pick out the music." I defend.

"Well, I'm getting a drink. Wanna come with?" Kayla ask, but Calum comes up.

"Hey, we need to go Luke." Calum says.

"What?" Kayla ask, with a confused look.

"We gotta go talk to the DJ, but I'll come back. Promise." I say.

"Oh. Okay." Kayla says, heading over to where Hanley is at the bar.

"You're going to have to tell her Luke." Calum says as we're walking towards the back.

"Why tell her if I know she's not going to date me? I'll keep it a secret for as long as I can." I say.

"Well, what are you going to do if Hanley invites her to one of her fights? You know Hanley will." Calum says. He has a point. I've lost 3 girls that I've liked to her inviting them, cause they thought it was "bad".

"Well, I'll invite her to do something else that night so she can't go. Let's not talk about this right now. Let's just get this over with." I say.

•KAYLA'S P.O.V•

"What are you doing over here? Where's Luke?" Hanley asks, once I'm over to her.

"Him and Calum had to go talk to someone." I say, sitting down getting a drink.

"Oh. So have your friends showed up yet?" Hanley ask.

I pull out my phone right when Ashton texts.

*Ashton: Hey sweetheart, turn around. ;)*

I turn around and is met with a smiling Ashton.

"ASHTON!" I say jumping up and hugging him.

"KAYLA!" Ashton yells!

"OH MY GOD! I'VE MISSED YOUR SCARY FACE!" I say.

"I missed yours too." He says back.

"Where's Alex?" I ask, while we walk back over to Hanley.

"Parking." Ashton says.

Once we get back over to Hanley, k introduce them.

"Ashton, this is Hanley, the genius I told you about. Hanley this is Ashton." I say.

They both kind of just stare at each other. I just stand there waiting for one of them to say hi.

I cough. "Oh hi." Ashton says, reaching out his hand.
