"You're definitely a sweetheart." Luke says rolling his eyes.

"Don't tell me something I don't know." I say. "So, is there any of your friends in this next class?"

"Well, do you remember that boy from the party?" He ask.

"Well, there was a lot of boys at that party. Be more specific Hemmings." I say.

"The dark haired boy. He was with me when I saw you." He say.

"Ummmm. Was is Calum?" I ask.

"Bingo that's his nameo!" Luke laughs and so do I.

"I made you laugh at a joke! Hell yeah!!" Luke says jumping.

"Calm down Luke." I say, still laughing a little.

As we walk down the hallway, I notice that Luke is quite popular around here. So many people has stopped him to talk or some people just yell "YO! SUP HEMMO!"

"Well, here is math." Luke says. "I'm pretty good at math. So if you need a tutor, I'm your man."

"Well, lucky for me, I'm quite the math genius." I smirk. I notice Calum. There is a seat open behind him and behind a girl beside him. I decide to sit behind the girl. Figuring the seat behind Calum is Luke's and I was right.

"So Kayla, this is Calum and Hanley. Guys this is Kayla." Luke says.

"Well no shit, you just said her name." Says the girl, "and Luke, I can introduce myself you bastard." I can tell Hanley and I will be good friends.

"Well damn Hanley, who pissed in your cheerios?" Ask Calum.

"Damn it Hood." Says Hanley.

"They do this a lot. Get use to it." Luke whispers. I nod my head.

"Yo, it looks like we have a sub." Calum says pointing to the door.

"Hello class, I'm Mr. King. Mr. Page couldn't make it today and it looks like he didn't leave anything. So if there is anything else you need to work on, I'd advise you to do it." Mr. King said.

"Hell yes!" Hanley says. "So Kayla, tell us, what hell hole did you come from?"

"John K." I say.

"Damn, that's a rough school, but hey, they got good drugs." Calum says. "Well, so I've been told. Been trying TK quit."

"That's good." I say.

"Why thank you Kayla. At least someone is appreciative of my accomplishment." Calum says, looking at Hanley and Luke.

"Hey, I'm supportive." Luke says.

"Me too. Stop being a douche." Hanley says, punching Calum in the arm.

"Save that. That fucking hurt." Calum says. I have know idea what he meant by save that.

"I have no idea what to wear tonight." Hanley says.

"Just dress like a slut, you'll fit right in." Calum says, smirking.

"Where are you going tonight?" I ask.

"To a rave." Hanley says. "You should come along.

"No." Luke says to quick.

"What?" I look at Luke.

"Yeah, what Luke?" Hanley says, smiling.

"Um, I lost at a game I was playing." Luke says.

"Well anyways, you should come Kayla." Hanley says.

"I would love to, but I'm grounded." I say.

"Sneak out." Calum says, which earns him a punch in the arm from Luke.

"I would, but the last time that happened, I got caught and sent here." I say.

"Oh." Hanley says.

The rest of the class was quite. Small talk between Calum and Hanley about tonight. Luke was quite the whole time. Hanley gave me her number and told me not to hesitate about texting her.

The rest of the day went by and was finally over. I had a few more classes with Kaitlyn and a few with Michael. Hanley is like the queen of sass. At lunch, which I have with her, Calum, Luke and Kaitlyn, she little takes the piss out of Luke and Calum. Kaitlyn and I was laughing so hard. Calum and Luke just take it. Luke said they're use to it. I can tell Hanley, Kaitlyn, and I see going to be the best of friends.

I pull out my phone and notice they put me into a group chat.

"Remind me to kill them." I say lowly while I wait on my mom.

*Ashton: So how was your first day Holt?*

*Ashton: Damnit Holt! Don't tell me you forgot all about us! I'm going to cry!*

*Alex: Come Kayla. Ashton is almost in tears.*

*Me: It was good. Already have to do a 300 word essay about sarcasm.*

*Ashton: Damn Holt. What did you do?!*

*Me: the teacher asks me to say my name and where I came from. I told her my name and said I came from my mom. Which is the truth.*

*Ashton: Bitch of sarcasm has hit Lincoln Prep! I've missed you.*

*Alex: Wow thanks douche. WE'VE missed you Kayla.*

*Ashton: To show how much we love you, you should come to a rave with us.*

*Me: Um if you have forgotten, I'm grounded dipshits.*

*Ashton: Watch your profanity! It's a Friday. Question is who starts school on a Friday? But anyways. Just sneak out.*

*Alex: Damnit. Well, we wish you would come. We'll have a dance in your honor. I have to go get dressed. Love you Kayla. Fuck you Ashton.*

*Ashton: Wow Alex, fuck you too. And I gotta do the same. Selling tonight. Love you Kayla.*

*Me: Love you guys too. Oh and Ashton?*

*Ashton: Yes Kayla?*

*Me: Watch your profanity!*

*Ashton: Fuck you Kayla! ;)*

What's up with this rave everyone is talking about? Luckily, I only have 3 more weeks!

I see my mom pull into the school.

As I get into the car, Mom already is starting the questions.

"So, how was your first day?" She ask.

"It was good." I say.

"Did you make any new friends?" She ask.

"Yeah, a couple." I say.

"That's good honey. I told you there's nothing to worry about Lincoln." Mom says.

I'm glad she didn't ask anymore questions. I'm definitely going to tell her about Mrs. Ranger. I'll just do the essay when I get home. Today has been a long day, but not as bad as I thought it would be.
