"Keep 'em coming"

Liquor after liquor, drink after drink. I just wanted to forget about the world and all my problems as I sat at the bar drinking. The bartender didn't seem to mind, I mean I was paying him after all. I swaggered a little to the music and chatter that consumed me.

I kept going until I saw him. He was staring at me from across the bar with a smirk. Feeling a little confident, I raised the glass to my lips, taking a sip whilst still flashing seductive eyes. He eventually got up a came over, his knee brushing past mine as he took a seat beside me.

"Hello stranger" Owen greeted, the smirk still planted on his face. "I'm no stranger" I giggled. "How many drinks have you had?"

"One too many"

"Shots?"

"You're on"

It didn't take us long to get absolutely hammered. Everything became so funny as we laughed our worries away, sitting even closer than before. Occasionally, our hands would brush and we'd look at each other with cheesy smiles. 'Maybe this is my sign...'

"You wanna come over?" I asked. "Sure, I'll drive" he grinned. We paid for the remaining shots before stumbling out of the bar. "Where's your car?" I questioned, looking around. Owen was peering at each vehicle with a frown. "I don't remember" he hiccuped. With another laugh, we ended up walking back to my place.

As soon as we got through the door, I was lightly pushed against the wall. "You know, you're gorgeous" he complimented. His warm breath against my skin sent shivers down my spine as I smiled. "You should kiss me" I grinned. Owen raised his eyebrow for a moment before smashing his lips onto mine.

The kiss was fast and needy, hands were everywhere as we made our way into the living room not breaking the contact. We fell onto the couch with a slight bounce, him on top of me. We made out for a while sloppily, just living in the moment.

"Ahem"

Another voice startled us. Looking over, Bill was standing in the doorway with a glare on his face. "H-how'd you get in here?" I perplexed, almost assuming he was magic from my drunken state. "I have a spare key. Thought I'd see how you were doing" he was clearly annoyed. Owen sat up slowly, the situation turned sour quickly.

"I uh, I'll see you around Y/n," he said before grabbing his jacket and leaving. Bill scoffed and I stood up from the couch with a sway. "You cockblock! I was having fun" I whined. "You're drunk Y/n. What the hell are you doing?" Bill lectured. "I don't need to hear anything from YOU Mr baby daddy," I remarked.

I tried to walk past but Bill grabbed onto me, pinning me against the wall. "Look I don't know what your problem is but don't bring me down just because you're jealous!" He scowled. Our faces were inches apart, tempers rising. "JEALOUS? I'm not jealous of your skanky wife" I almost shrieked at him.

"Stop being a bitch! I didn't choose for this to happen" he argued. In reaction, I stomped hard on his foot as he jumped back with a yelp. "She's the bitch! Don't you see? She's hated me ever since I showed up-"

"Well maybe if you didn't show up then you wouldn't have ruined things!"

Breathing heavy, I tried to keep my composure.

"Take that fucking back! You love me!"

"No, I don't...I thought I did but this isn't the Y/n I remember"

"What about me huh? I LOVED YOU ALL THIS TIME" I screamed out, tears falling. I couldn't help it but my waterfall emotions burst out, I was a mess. Bill looked remorseful, maybe even hurt. "I'M CONFUSED OKAY?! I DON'T KNOW WHO I WANT" he suddenly yelled, banging his fist hard on the wall.

I flinched, my cheeks stained red. Bill sighed heavily as I shrunk down to the floor, holding my arms around my knees. "I think you're the best thing that's ever happened to me. I want you...But I can't have you. For that, I'm sorry" he said.

Then with that, he left me all alone crying through the inside pain.
